OPPO A71 (2018) with Snapdragon 450, 3GB RAM, AI selfie tech launched in India for Rs. 9990

OPPO has launched A71 (2018) in India as the successor of A71 smartphone that was launched in India back in September last year. It is being called the A71 (3GB) in India and was introduced in Taiwan and Pakistan recently.   It has similar specifications as the predecessor, including a 5.2-inch HD display,  Android 7.1 (Nougat) OS with ColorOS on top, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, but this is powered by Snapdragon 450 SoC instead of MediaTek MT6750 SoC. Asus Zenfone 5 with 18:9 display, top-notch, dual rear cameras, more Zenfone 5 Lite images surface

Asus is expected to introduce the new Zenfone 5 series at the MWC 2018 event on February 27th in Barcelona. Renders of one of the Zenfone 5 variant with 5.7-inch FHD+ display, dual rear cameras, metal body surfaced recently, later press shot of the Zenfone 5 Lite surfaced, now images from the Zenfone 5 ZE620KL (X00QD) manual shows that the phone will have a iPhone X-like top-notch and a full-screen display. It also shows dual rear cameras with fingerprint sensor on the back and a unibody metal design. Meizu E3 with 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, 6GB RAM, dual rear cameras gets certified ahead of March 6 announcement

Meizu recently sent out invites for the announcement of E3, successor of last year’s E2  in China on March 6. Now the smartphone has surfaced on TENAA in China with the model numbers M851M and M851Q. This shows a unibody metal design for the phone, 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 display, 12-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual rear cameras as well as side-mounted fingerprint sensor that was first introduced in the M6s last month. Koinex Android app with custom price alerts, fingerprint login and more launched

Koinex , one of India’s most popular cryptocurrency exchanges in India has launched its official Android app, as it had promised. This lets you access your account and also lets new users register from the app by submitting personal details, including  KYC documents by taking photos and editing them in the app itself without scanning. It also has detailed charts and price alters that notifies you if your the value of a goes up or comes down from the amount you have set. Huawei Honor brand launched its mid-range Honor 9i smartphone  in India recently. We already brought you the review of the phone, here we have the battery life test results of the phone. It packs a 3340mAh battery (typical) / 3240mAh (minimum), has a 5.9-inch Full HD+  display, is powered by Octa-Core Kirin 659 SoC, has 4GB of RAM, runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.1. How to send money using WhatsApp payments

WhatsApp started rolling out WhatsApp Payments, UPI (Unified Payments Interface)-based payments service for WhatsApp for Android beta as well as iOS users earlier this week. Now it has started rolling out widely for more users on both the platforms. It supports over 70 banks, including Paytm Payments Bank and Airtel Payments. Latest Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 teaser highlights the smartphone’s large 18:9 display

We already know the Xiaomi is all set to launch the most expected Redmi Note 5 smartphone in India on February 14th. Earlier teasers did not have any hints. Today the company has posted a new teaser highlighting the smartphone’s large 18:9 aspect ratio high pixel density screen, which hints at a 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 full-screen display found in the Redmi 5 Plus. Motorola has sent out invites for the launch of Moto Z2 Force smartphone in India on February 15th. It will be launching the limited edition Moto Z2 Force that comes bundled with Moto TurboPower pack worth Rs. 5999. The battery Mod for the Moto Z series phones was originally launched in India back in December last year.

Jolla to introduce Sailfish OS 3, new Sailfish devices on February 26 at MWC 2018

Finnish-based handset maker, Jolla has announced its MWC 2018 event on February 26. At the event the company will unveil the major Sailfish OS 3 update and will also introduce new Sailfish devices, and probably Sailfish X support for more Sony Xperia devices. Vivo smartphone with bezel-less display, under-glass fingerprint sensor surfaces

Last month Vivo launched the X20 Plus UD with in-display fingerprint sensor in China. Even though this had a Full HD+ 18: 9 Super AMOLED display, it had bezels around the screen. Now an image of a new smartphone with almost bezel-less screen, similar to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. It is not clear if this is the upcoming X30 since this doesn’t have a top-notch with earpiece and the front camera. Some rumors say that this will have over 95% screen-to-body ratio. BSNL launches 4G LTE services in India starting from Kerala

State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has finally launched 4G services in India starting from Kerala. BSNL 4G services will be available at five locations – Udumbanchola, Udumbanchola Town, Kallupalam, Chemmannar and Senapathy in Kerala in the high range Idukki district and is expected to be roll out to other districts in Kerala later this year. Xiaomi Mi 4i gets final MIUI 9.2 update

Xiaomi launched the Mi 4i back in 2015 MIUI 6 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). MIUI v8.5.3  was the last update for the above mentioned devices which company rolled out a few months back, and company decided to skip MIUI 9.0 update for the phone. Earlier this week the company started rolling out MIUI 9.2 Global Beta Stable update to the phone and, the main highlights of MIUI 9.2 include Interactive and Fresh UI changes, New Gallery App, Calendar Cards, App Vault, Mi Video App, New Mi Explorer.

Panasonic Lumix GH5S cinema 4K HDR video recording camera launched in India for Rs. 184990

Panasonic has launched LUMIX GH5S, its latest flagship model under LUMIX G DSLM cameras based on the Micro Four Thirds system standard. This doesn’t have 5-Axis in-body Stabilization that was present in the GH5 that was launched and also uses new 10.2-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor with Dual Native ISO Technology and Venus Engine that allows for a maximum 51200 ISO in high-sensitivity recording with minimal noise. It can record Cinema 4K (4096 x 2160 resolution) video at 30 or 60 frames per second and shoot 14-bit RAW files at up to 10 frames per second.
