Meizu E3 with 5.99-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 636, 6GB RAM, 12MP + 20MP dual rear cameras announced

Meizu just announced E3, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘E Series’ in China, as it had promised. It has a 5.99-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display, is powered by Snapdragon 636 with 6GB RAM, but it still runs Android 7.1 (Nougat) with Flyme OS 6.3 on top. It has a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Dual PD full-pixel focus for 0.026s fast focus along with a 20-megapixel secondary camera, to capture depth information for portrait shots and 2.5x loss-less zoom. Meizu E3 with 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, 6GB RAM, dual rear cameras to be announced on March 21

Last month Meizu sent out a teaser for the media outlets in China that hinted at the E3 announcement on March 6th. But today the company actually confirmed that the E3 will be announced on March 21st. Meizu E3 with 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, 6GB RAM, dual rear cameras gets certified ahead of March 6 announcement

Meizu recently sent out invites for the announcement of E3, successor of last year’s E2  in China on March 6. Now the smartphone has surfaced on TENAA in China with the model numbers M851M and M851Q. This shows a unibody metal design for the phone, 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 display, 12-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual rear cameras as well as side-mounted fingerprint sensor that was first introduced in the M6s last month.
