Last week winners of the 64th annual iF DESIGN AWARD were announced under different categories including Product Design, Communication Design, Packaging Design, Service Design, Architecture, Interior Architecture and Professional Concept. Samsung won 49 iF Design Awards, including one Gold award. These awards were for superior product design, four for professional concept design, seven for communication design, and three for packaging design for Galaxy S7 Series, Gear S3, Galaxy C9 Pro, SUHD TV KS9500, RB38K7998S4 and Activewash series. Samsung launched the Galaxy C9 Pro (SM-C900F) in India in January for Rs. 36,900. We recently brought you the review of the smartphone, here we have the battery life test results of the phone. It packs a 4000mAh battery with support for adaptive fast charging using the bundled charger (5V-2A/9V-1.67A). It has a 6-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 653 processor and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). Check out the test results below. ​Samsung completes $8 billion HARMAN acquisition, its biggest acquisition ever

Back in November last year Samsung Electronics said that it has agreed to acquire Harman International Industries, Incorporated for $112.00 per share in cash, or total equity value of approximately $8 billion. Today Samsung announced it has completed the acquisition. This is the biggest overseas acquisition ever by a South Korean firm.
