Airtel and Qualcomm partner for 5G services in India

Bharti Airtel recently demonstrated and orchestrate live 5G service over a commercial network in Hyderabad city. Today Airtel has announced that it has partnered with Qualcomm for accelerating 5G in India. Through Airtel’s network vendors and device partners, Airtel will utilize the Qualcomm 5G RAN Platforms to roll out virtualized and Open RAN-based 5G networks. Google Pixel 5a with 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED display surfaces in renders

Google Pixel 5a has surfaced in first CAD-based renders, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a similar punch-hole OLED screen as the predecessor, however this is said to feature a slightly bigger 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED screen compared to the 5.8-inch screen. This also increases the height, width and the thickness of the phone to 156.2 x 73.2 x 8.8mm (9.4mm with camera bump). HUAWEI just announced Mate X2, the company’s latest foldable phone at an event in China, as it had promised. HUAWEI has chanced from its unique outward-folding screen design in the original Mate X to an inward-folding screen like the Galaxy Fold. This has an 8-inch OLED screen on the inside with 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate and a 6.45-inch external OLED screen with 240Hz touch sampling rate. Xiaomi under its Redmi brand launched the Redmi 9 Power in India back in December starting at Rs. 10999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version was launched at Rs. 11,999. Today it has launched the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version at Rs. 12,999. It comes in Mighty Black, Blazing Blue, Fiery Red and Electric Green colours and will be available across Amazon India, Mi.com, Mi Home stores and Mi Studio starting today, 22 February 2021 12 noon. It already confirmed Dolby Atoms, Stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio certification and E4 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate with a 2.8mm tiny centre punch-hole camera for the phone.

Realme GT 5G with Snapdragon 888 to be announced on March 4 [Update: Teaser confirms 64MP triple rear cameras, 3.5mm audio jack]

Update: realme China CMO Xu Qi Chase has posted a new image of the phone in Blue colour that shows 64MP rear camera along with two other cameras and a 3.5mm audio jack in the bottom. New teaser will be posted tomorrow. The phone will also be showcased at the MWC Shanghai later this week before it is unveiled next week.
