Samsung at its Galaxy Unpacked event introduced the Galaxy Buds2 that joins the Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Buds Pro. It features dynamic two-way speakers for crisp, clear high notes and a deep bass, while the Active Noise Cancellation feature helps block unwanted sound. There are three adjustable Ambient Sound levels, for calls there is a machine learning-based solution that filters out a variety of distracting background noises. Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic with 1.2 / 1.4″ Super AMOLED display, One UI Watch 3 Platform, Exynos W920 announced

At the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung also introduced the new Galaxy Watch 4 series powered by the new Exynos W920 5nm processor and these run One UI Watch 3 on top of WearOS, making these the first models to run the new Wear OS built jointly with Google.  These come in 1.2″ and 1.4″ models with Super AMOLED, Full Color Always On Display with Corning Gorilla Glass with DX+ protection. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G with 120Hz AMOLED display, Under display camera, Water resistant design, S Pen support announced

Samsung just announced the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, the company’s latest foldable smartphone and the successor to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold2 at its Unpacked event, as expected. It features a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Infinity Flex Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen on the inside with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, Samsung Ultra Thin Glass that’s 80% stronger, and it’s 29% brighter than the Z Fold 2’s display. It features a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display that also has 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The phone also has a 4MP under display camera on the inside, and there is a 10MP camera for the outside screen. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G with 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED Infinity Flex 120Hz Display, Snapdragon 888, water-resistant design announced

At the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, the company introduced the Galaxy Z Flip3, the company’s next-generation flip phone. It flaunts a 6.7-inch FULL HD+ Dynamic AMOLED main display with a 22:9 aspect ratio and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The Infinity Flex display has proprietary bendable Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG). The screen also has 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. MediaTek Dimensity 920 and Dimensity 810 6nm SoCs with support for Dual SIM 5G, up to 120Hz FHD+ displays announced

MediaTek today announced the new Dimensity 920 and Dimensity 810 chipsets as the successor to the Dimensity 900 and Dimesnity 800 SoCs. The Dimensity 920 is built using the 6nm manufacturing node and offers a 9% boost in gaming performance compared to its predecessor, the Dimensity 900. It also has Arm Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.5GHz compared to 2.4GHz in the predecessor, while retaining other features. Xiaomi Sound Smart Speaker with 360° omnidirectional sound, Bluetooth 5.2, UWB support announced

At its Mi MIX 4 launch event, Xiaomi also introduced Xiaomi Sound, the company’s top-end smart speaker. It has a tank-shaped body with transparent elements and a floating touch top cover that offers 360° omnidirectional sound. It has a built-in 2.25 inch neodymium iron boron dual magnetic circuit 12W full 12W frequency unit, equipped with a 54x44mm dual suspension passive radiator, which can reach a maximum sound pressure of 90dB. Xiaomi introduces Mi TV Lux 77″ 4K OLED 120Hz TV with 70W speakers, Dolby Atmos, Mi TV 6 55″ and 65″ 4K OLED TVs

Along with the Mi MIX 4 and the Mi Pad 5 series, Xiaomi also introduced its 2nd generation Mi TV Master / Lux series TV with a 77-inch 4K OLED screen with ultra narrow bezels, 96.2% ultra-high screen-to-body ratio,
and it uses the latest generation of V21 panel, which claims to offer peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits. It supports, Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG, and also has IMAX Enhanced certification. It also supports BT.709, DCI-P3, Adobe RGB, BT.2020 four-channel color gamut, has 10-bit and Delta E 1.5. Nord 2 blast again? OnePlus says it’s a false report and is not related to OnePlus device

After the first Nord 2 blast last week, which OnePlus said was due to external factors and not a manufacturing defect, another Twitter user earlier today posted that his father’s Nord 2 exploded, but he did not share any photos of the phone. Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro with 11-inch 2.5K 120Hz display, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, Snapdragon 860 / 870 announced

Along with the Mi MIX 4, Xiaomi also introduced the Mi Pad 5 series that includes the Mi Pad 5 and the Mi Pad 5 Pro, as it had promised. Both these feature an 11-inch 2.5K / WQXA LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and HDR10 and Dolby Atmos. These have 6.86mm sleek body. The Mi Pad 5 is powered by Snapdragon 860 with 27067² cooling area and the Pro version is powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC with 22745mm² cooling area. Xiaomi MIX 4 with 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, under-screen camera, Snapdragon 888+,120W fast charging announced

Xiaomi just announced the MIX 4 the company’s latest smartphones in the MIX series in China, as it had announced. It features a 6.67’-inch AMOLED 3D curved display with 10-bit TrueColor,  120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The main highlight of the phone is its under display camera technology that offers a 400 ppi seamless viewing in the camera zone, matching the pixel density, brightness, and color detail of the surrounding screen. iQOO 8 / 8 Pro with E5 QHD+ display to be announced on August 17 [Update: 50MP camera, Gimbal Stabilisation confirmed]

iQOO today confirmed that the iQOO 8 Pro will feature a 50MP rear camera with VIS five-axis Gimbal stabilization, along with a 48MP ultra-wide camera. There is an additional camera on the side, but it doesn’t look like a telephoto camera, but it could be a portrait camera. The teaser image shows f/1.75 to f/2.23 aperture, and 14-60 focal length ASPH lens. realme Book to be announced on August 18, realme Book Slim teased in India

realme has been teasing its realme Book laptop for quite some time now, and the renders of the laptop surfaced in renders recently. Today, the company has confirmed the launch of realme Book in China on August 18th, the same day of realme GT series India launch. The teaser image coincides with earlier leaks. Update – August 10, 2021: realme today confirmed the launch of realme GT series smartphones in India. We already know that the realme GT 5G will be powered by Snapdragon 888. Today, it has confirmed that it will launch the realme GT Master Edition with Snapdragon 778G SoC in the country, and not the realme GT Master Edition Explorer with Snapdragon 870. Samsung introduces Exynos W920 5nm EUV wearables SoC with built-in 4G modem ahead of Galaxy Watch 4 launch

Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Watch 4, the company’s next generation smartwatch, at its Galaxy Unpacked event tomorrow, August 11th. Ahead of the launch, it introduced the Exynos W920, the world’s first wearables SoC that uses 5-nanometer (nm) extreme ultra-violet (EUV) process node. It also has built-in LTE modem. Motorola edge 20 with 6.67-inch FHD+ 144Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 778G and motorola edge 20 Fusion launching in India on August 17

After teasers, Motorola today confirmed the launch of Motorola edge 20 and edge 20 Fusion smartphones in India on August 17th, after the edge 20 series were introduced last month. The edge 20 has a 6.67″ OLED, 10-bit colour screen with DCI-P3 colour space and HDR10+ and 144Hz refresh rate and the Lite version which is launching as Fusion version has a 90Hz refresh rate.
