OnePlus Nord 2 5G Review: Value for money phone with excellent camera

OnePlus finally launched its most expected OnePlus Nord 2 smartphone last month. It is a major upgrade from last year’s Nord since this packs the first MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI SoC that boosts the AI features, has a 50MP main camera with Sony IMX766 sensor, and also comes with 65W fast charging that were previously available only in top-end OnePlus phones. Xiaomi to introduce Mi MIX 4 on August 10, could feature under-screen camera, Snapdragon 888 Plus, 120W fast charging

Mi TV 4C 32-inch HD Ready Android Smart TV launched in India at an introductory price of Rs. 15999

Xiaomi has launched its new Mi TV 4C smart TV in India. It has a 32-inch HD ready Ultra-bright screen, comes with Vivid Picture Engine (VPE), a set of software and hardware tweaks that ensures accurate screen calibration, deeper contrasts and perfect colour reproduction. Looks like the different between this and the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition 32″ model that was launched last year are that this has slightly thicker bezels around the screen. I have been using the Airfree Pods, which is the company’s top-end TWS earbuds, among these which has a Qualcomm chip, aptX support, in addition to AAC, Qualcomm cVc 8.0 noise-cancelling technology, 4 built-in ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation), support for wireless charging and lots more. Nord 2 Blast: OnePlus says it was due to external factors and not a manufacturing defect

On July 31st, a Twitter user posted an image of a burnt OnePlus Nord 2 that was 5 days old. He added that the phone blasted and smoke started coming out when the phone was inside a sling bag. In a reply to the user, OnePlus Support said that they are deeply concerned and asked the user to connect via direct message. After a couple of days, the original tweet disappeared, but you can see the screenshot of the cached version below. RedmiBook e-Learning Edition and RedmiBook Pro with 15.6-inch FHD display, 11th Gen Intel Core i3/i5 launched in India starting at Rs. 41999

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand today launched the RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition, the company’s first laptops in India, as it had promised. The RedmiBook Pro has a 15.6-inch FHD screen, is powered by  11th Generation Intel Core i5 Tiger lake H35 series processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 8GB of RAM and 512GB of NVMe SSD. The company says that it has large cooling vents on the bottom. Xiaomi’s Redmi brand launched the Redmi Note 10 smartphone back in March this year in two variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage starting at a price of Rs. 11.999. After months of launch, the smartphone now has received its third price hike in India and starts at Rs. 13,499 for the base 4GB + 64GB version. Samsung already confirmed the launch of its new Galaxy smartphones and accessories at its Galaxy Unpacked event on August 11th. We have been seeing a lot of leaks about the devices for the past few weeks. Now the Europe pricing for these devices have surfaced, thanks to @evleaks. The leaker also mentioned that these are just Europe pricing, so pricing for other countries like US and India will be different. Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro with Tensor SoC, upgraded cameras, aluminium frame teased ahead of launch

After rumours, Google has officially confirmed the launch of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones later this fall. The company has also confirmed the design of the phones in images, and also said that these will use new Tensor SoC, which was earlier rumoured to be called “GS101”, codenamed “Whitechapel”. Both these will have an aluminium frame with matte finish on the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro will come with a polished aluminium frame.
