Aircel has launched new roaming pack Apno Ke Saath for the festive season. The new pack offers 100-167 minutes of free incoming and outgoing local and STD calls on roaming, depending on the circle and also offers additional benefit of free 100MB 2G or 3G data. Priced between Rs.35 and Rs. 51 depending on the circle, the pack is available in nine circles – Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, Delhi, Karnataka, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Orissa, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu in India and comes with a validity of 30 days. Vodafone to invest Rs. 13,000 crore in India for ‘Digital India’, ‘Make in India’ and more

Vodafone today announced that it will invest Rs. 13,000 crores (£1.3 billion) for capacity augmentation and new business initiatives in India, including initiatives such as Digital IndiaMake in India and more. This was announced by Vittorio Colao, Vodafone Group Plc‘s CEO, in his meeting with the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in London earlier today. Back in 2012 there were rumors about Facebook working on Snapchat-like app for sending self-destructible timed messages, but it didn’t happen. Last year BlackBerry launched Timed messages feature for BBM that lets users set the time the message should be displayed to other users before it disappears. According to Buzzfeed, Facebook is testing a similar feature for the Facebook Messenger to give an option for the users to have their messages disappear one hour after sending them. Apple to shut down Beats Music on November 30, asks users to move to Apple Music

Beats Music, a subscription-based online music streaming service from Beats Electronics was launched in the US back in January 2014. Apple acquired Beats Music and Beats Electronics for $3 billion in May last year. It launched Apple Music service in June, which went live on iOS, Mac and PC on June 30th in over 100 countries, including India.. The Android app went live earlier this week. Lenovo reports $714 million net loss in Q2 FY 2015-16, 18.8 million phones sold

Lenovo has reported revenue of US$ 12.2 billion for its second fiscal quarter 2015-16 that ended September 30, 2015.  Revenue increased 16% YoY from $10.5 billion. Lenovo Lemon X3 / Vibe X3 launch event set for November 16 in China

Lenovo Vibe X3 surfaced back in February and got certified on TENAA back in September. It was recently shown off by China Mobile during the EXPO COMM China 2015 event, now the company has announced (Via) that the smartphone will be announced as Lemon X3 in China on November 16th. Lenovo highlighted the enhanced audio features of the smartphone in several teaser images featuring legendary musicians, including Mozart. The smartphone will have dual front-facing speakers and will come with Hi-Fi audio features.

Xiaomi conducts China’s marathon 24-hour online sales event on Singles Day that falls on November 11th every year in cooperation with Tmall, the largest online marketplace in China. Last year it made $163 million (RMB 1 billion) by selling 720,000 phones in 24 hours. This year Xiaomi has announced that it made $196 (RMB 1.25 billion) on Tmall in 24 hours. This time it sold its products through several online stores including Alibaba, JD, Tmall, mi.com and Suning and became top seller of phones. Ola Money app released, offers money transfer, bill payments, mobile recharge and more

Ola recently released Ola Money App for Android that lets you make prepaid mobile recharges and pay your postpaid bills with just one click. It also offers deals on merchants who have partnered with OLA. With the app it aims to compete with the likes of Paytm, FreeCharge and others. OLA Money is used for payments across all of Ola’s services such as taxis, auto rickshaws, food delivery venture (Ola Café) and grocery delivery service Ola Store. After several leaks Samsung has made the Exynos 8 Octa 8890 official. It is based on 14nm FinFET process technology, similar to the Exynos 7 Octa that was introduced earlier this year, but this uses the company’s first custom designed CPU cores based on 64-bit ARMv8 architecture. Instead of ARM Cortex-A57 cores and Cortex-A53 cores in the Exynos 7 Octa, this uses four custom cores and four ARM Cortex-A53 cores. It also uses heterogeneous big.LITTLE structure for efficient usage of the eight cores, similar to its earlier Exynos Octa processors. Today, the Korean company has announced that the smartwatch will roll out worldwide starting from this month. It packs a 1.38-inch 348 PPI display, has GPS and it works with iOS too, but LG says that cellular enabled features will vary across Android and iOS. It packs a 5-inch HD screen, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 412 SoC, comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that also has a LED flash for capturing better images in low lighting conditions. ARM unveils Cortex-A35 64-bit ultra-high efficient processor for wearables

ARM has introduced Cortex-A35 64-bit processor for wearables and embedded applications. ARM says that it will offer significant efficiency improvements compared to other 64-bit processors. Most of the current smartwatches use Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC based on ARM Cortex-A7, the Cortex-A35 takes the power profile of Cortex-A7 and its ARM big.LITTLE multi-core configurability and combines it with the software maturity and 64-bit compute performance of the ARMv8-A architecture, said the company.

Apple released iPhone 6s and 6s Plus smartphones in new Rose Gold color, now every company has started releasing smartphones in Rose Gold color that has a mix of both Rose and Gold, making it look Pink. Even Samsung released the Galaxy Note5 in a similar color variant recently and called it Pink Gold, now Oppo has released Rose Gold variant of the R7s smartphone.
