Reliance Jio Infocomm, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) had launched 4G services for its employees in December last year and it officially launched for all on September 5th. Today the company has announced that it has signed record 16 million new subscribers in 26 days of its commercial operations. “Jio has achieved this growth faster than any other telecom operator or start up in the world including the likes of Facebook, WhatsApp and Skype,” said the company. Microsoft has sent out invites for its fall Windows 10 event in New York City on October 26. The invite just says Imagine what you’ll do on a window, and the company says that it will detail what’s next for Windows 10. It is not expected to introduce a new Surface Pro 2-in-1 or Surface Book 2 since these are slated to be unveiled only in 2017 along with the Windows 10 Redstone 2. We can expect some details about the upcoming major Redstone update that the company plans to release through two major software updates in 2017.
