Microsoft has sent out invites for its fall Windows 10 event in New York City on October 26. The invite just says Imagine what you’ll do on a window, and the company says that it will detail what’s next for Windows 10. It is not expected to introduce a new Surface Pro 2-in-1 or Surface Book 2 since these are slated to be unveiled only in 2017 along with the Windows 10 Redstone 2. We can expect some details about the upcoming major Redstone update that the company plans to release through two major software updates in 2017.
The company is expected to introduce a new all-in-one (AIO) PC along with a Surface keyboard and mouse at the event. It is also expected to showcase new laptops and devices from OEMs.
The Surface phone is rumored to be unveiled only in late 2017 or early 2018 so we can’t expect any details about it at the event.
The Microsoft Windows 10 event starts at 10AM EDT (7:30 PM IST) on October 26, Wednesday. It will likely offer live stream for the event on its website.
