Qualcomm to integrate WPA3 security features across mobile and networking products

Qualcomm today announced that it is integrating WPA3 support across mobile and networking infrastructure products. WPA3 was introduced back in January and is the industry’s newest Wi-Fi security and provides robust protection for user passwords and stronger privacy in both public and private Wi-Fi networks. Update: Google has started rolling out respond reminder feature that will ‘nudge’ users to reply to emails they may have missed and to follow up on emails for which they haven’t received a response. This is enabled by default for users with the new Gmail enabled, but you can can turn it off from the Gmail settings menu.

Coolpad files two lawsuits against Xiaomi over patent litigation in China

Coolpad has announced that its unit has filed lawsuits against three group firms of Xiaomi for several patent Infringements. The company’s subsidiary, Yulong Computer Telecommunication Scientific (Shenzhen) Co. Limited has filed a lawsuit against Xiaomi Telecom Technology Co, Xiaomi Technology Co, and Xiaomi Factory Co, in a court in Jiangsu province for using its patents without authorization. Smartphone shipments up 11% YoY in Q1 2018 in India, Xiaomi continues to lead with 30.3% share: IDC
