New iPod Touch with Retina Display , Facetime , HD Video Recording launched

The iPod Touch is pretty much an iPhone without a phone. When Apple released the iPhone 3GS , i tried hard to get hold of one without a contract for a reasonable price and was disappointed. The iPod 32 GB came to my rescue then with the same faster processor and plenty of RAM. I still use the iPod Touch as a Music and Gaming device. Apple today announced the 4th gen iPod touch today along with the revamped Nano and Shuffle and Apple TV.

Seems like the Motorola Droid X has great battery life !

According to a tests performed by LaptopMag , The Motorola Droid X has the best battery life amongst the latest Android handsets in the Market. They used a custom Android app to perform the tests on 8 Phones including the Samsung Galaxy S phones  and Dell Streak.

Nokia buys Mobile Analytics firm Motally

Nokia has announced that it is going to acquire Mobile Analytics firm Motally in a move to integrate the service into Nokia’s platforms such as Qt, Symbian , MeeGo. Nokia did not disclose how much it paid to acquire the company but it should be reasonably small considering the fact the the company being acquired has only 8 employees .

Times of India has a shocking news that a 24 year old Indian youth was killed by a mobile phone explosion near Kota District in Rajasthan. The youth Manoj Singh was using a Nokia 1209 which exploded according to the article.
