Samsung to introduce 12 inch tablet says Korea Economic Daily

A report published by the Korea Economic Daily states that Samsung might be about to announce a 12 inch tablet as soon as October. The Daily mentions that the company has been engaged in development of the tablet which will dwarf Samsung’s 11.6 inch tablet. The 11.6 inch tablet is currently Samsung’s largest tablet.

The new report corroborates another report earlier this year that mentioned that Samsung plans to introduce a tablet around the 12 inch mark. It is believed that it’ll have the same screen resolution as that on the Nexus 10 ie 2560×1600. This would make it one of the most crisp displays out there. Interestingly, Apple is also believed to be working on a larger tablet of their own and this could be seen as Samsung’s move to compete with Cupertino for that audience.
