HTC begins Android 4.2.2 update roll out for One X, brings along Sense 5

Bringing its erstwhile flagship up to date, HTC has begun the rolling out the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the One X. The update brings along the latest version of Sense UI ie Sense 5 as seen on devices like the One and Desire 600.

The update brings the handset to version 4.18.491.2 and is under 380MB in size. Not only have the cosmetic features of the One been ported back, you also get useful additions like Blinkfeed, the new Camera and Gallery apps. HTC’s cool new video highlights feature also works here however the handset will not get the Zoe feature from the One. Users from Denmark and Slovakia are amongst the first to have reported receiving the update. We took a look at the 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the HTC One recently and are expecting a similar range of features here as well. A similar update for the slightly faster HTC One X+ has already begun rolling out. Has your device received the update yet ? Let us know in the comments section.
