HTC One X available from AT&T from May 6, One S coming to T-Mobile on April 25 for $199.99

Both the HTC One X and the One S has received the release date and price in the U.S, that were announced earlier this February for AT&T and T-Mobile. The HTC One X has 4.7 inch Super LCD touchscreen display, 8MP with Full HD (1080p) video recording, LED Flash and 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and 4G LTE support. The HTC One S has 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display, 8MP auto focus camera with flash and VGA front-facing camera and 4G (HSPA+ 42) support. These are powered by 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor and run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with HTC Sense 4 UI. Sprint and LG has announced a new eco-friendly LG Optimus Elite that has UL Environment Platinum Certification. It has 3.5-inch (320 x 480 Pixels) TFT capacitive touch-screen, 800 MHz processor, 5 MP rear-facing camera, NFC support, 512MB of RAM, 4GB ROM,   microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB. Galaxy Nexus coming to Sprint on April 22 for $199.99

Sprint has announced that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus would be available stating April 22. It is also the first Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, smartphone with 4G LTE capability on Sprint. It boasts 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 4.65-inch (1280 x 720 resolution pixels) HD Super AMOLED display, 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and 1080p video capture, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera that lets the user video chat with a group of up to 10 friends.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 series get priced in US


Samsung has announced the pricing and the availability of their Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7-inch and 10-inch tablets in the U.S. Both these tablets have similar specs such as 1GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) mid-February and the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) late-February. Toshiba Excite 10, Excite 13, and Excite 7.7 tablets running Android 4.0 announced

Toshiba has announced Excite 10, Excite 13 and Excite 7.7 tablets running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). These tables come in 10.1-inch, 13.3-inch, and 7.7-inch display sizes with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor  with GeForce graphics and 1GB of RAM. Nokia confirms Lumia 900 connectivity bug, to offer $100 credit and a software update


Nokia has confirmed a software issue in the Lumia 900 that results in loss of data connectivity for the AT&T customers. Nokia says this is due to memory management issue that would be fixed by a software update and not due to a the phone hardware or the network. Nokia has brought back the Lumia 710 Xpress-on color cover program, and they would offer free back covers for Nokia Lumia 710 for both new and existing customers in USA. Sprint has announced the pricing and pre-order availability date for the LG Viper, their first 4G LTE capable device that is also Eco-friendly. It has 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) touch screen display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Nokia Lumia 900 coming to AT&T on April 8 for $99.99


AT&T and Nokia has announced that Nokia Lumia 900 would be available exclusively in the U.S. from them on April 8 for $99.99. Nokia and AT&T  announced the Lumia 900 with AT&T’s 4G LTE support at CES 2012 in January. The Nokia Lumia 900 has 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm  Snapdragon S2 processor. It has 8 MP camera on the back with Nokia’s Carl Zeiss optics and a front-facing camera which was missing in the 800. It runs on Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) and has 1830 mAh battery. AT&T rolls out Android 4.0 update for HTC Vivid, lists 10 other devices to get ICS update

AT&T has officially announced the availability of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) for HTC Vivid. We told you how to update HTC Vivid to ICS manually last week. This update would bring optimized audio experience of Beats by Dr. Dre Audio and new and improved HTC Sense experience with Sense version 3.6. The company announced HTC Vivid last November. Last week HTC confirmed list of devices that would receive Android 4.0 update. This will also the first U.S. smartphone to receive Ice Cream Sandwich update issued by a carrier. They announced the HTC One X last week which would be their first smartphone with built-in Beats Audio By Dr. Dre. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE coming to Verizon on March 1 for $499.99


Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 with LTE would be available from Verizon Wireless from March 1st.  Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 7.7 at IFA last September and announced the tablet for Verizon Wireless at CES last month. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 comes with 7.7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels ) 720p Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display and is powered by 1.4 GHz dual-core processor .
