LG Optimus Elite eco-friendly Android phone coming to Sprint on April 22 for $29.99


Sprint and LG has announced a new eco-friendly LG Optimus Elite that has UL Environment Platinum Certification. It has 3.5-inch (320 x 480 Pixels) TFT capacitive touch-screen, 800 MHz processor, 5 MP rear-facing camera, NFC support, 512MB of RAM, 4GB ROM,   microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

It has 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with Mobile Hotspot capability supporting up to 5 Wi-Fi enabled devices to share the 3G experience simultaneously, Bluetooth and aGPS. It has 1520 mAh battery that offers up to 7.3 hours talk time.

It has Near Field Communication (NFC), allowing users to access features such as Google Wallet, an app that allows secure purchases using a mobile device from participating retailers.

The LG Optimus Elite would be available on Earth Day – Sunday, April 22 for $29.99 with a new 2-year service agreement and $50 mail-in rebate via reward card though Sprint Web Sales and Telesales (1-800-SPRINT1).
