In-line with Android Wear firmware update announcement on Monday, Google on Tuesday started pushing out an updated Android Wear companion app (v1.1) to users, which brings support for multiple Android Wear watches, and list of new features along with major visual and functional improvements.
Android Wear just got an update recently that brought in a lot of new features. One of the main additions was the Wi-Fi support. Having Wi-Fi enabled on your smartwatch is a really nice feature to have but apparently the LG G Watch will not be getting Wi-Fi support even with the new update.
Cleartrip has launched its app for Apple Watch. Cleartrip also becomes the first Indian Online Travel Agency (OTA) to release an app for Apple Watch. The app lets you view list of all your upcoming flights easily on your Apple Watch. The International Data Corporation (IDC) has released a new forecast that reveals the expected wearable device shipments in this year as 45.7 million unit, up 133.4% from the 19.6 million units shipped in 2014. It will reach 126.1 million units by 2019, up 45.1%, says IDC.
