Rumors about Google’s upcoming standalone virtual reality (VR) headset started earlier this year. Now former tech journalist Peter Rojas says that the Android VR headset will be announced at the Google I/O that starts on May 18th. He also said that the headset will not be as powerful as the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift, but it will be more powerful compared to the Gear VR that requires a smartphone. Samsung Galaxy S7 Active (SM-G891A) surfaced in live images few days back, now the smartphone has been spotted on GFXBench listing revealing most of the specifications. Microsoft is rumored to be working on the Surface Book 2, successor of last year’s Surface Book, it’s first laptop. The Surface Book has a 13.5-inch (3000 x 2000 pixels) 3:2, but the Surface Book 2 is rumored to come with a 4K display and could also feature USB Type-C port for faster data transfer speeds, and probably for a secondary display. Now press images of the Moto X (2016) and the new Droid smartphone that will be heading to Verizon. Motorola recently scheduled an event in India on May 17th, where it is expected to unveil the new Moto G (4th Gen) smartphone and the Moto G / G4 Plus. Even though some specifications of the smartphones were leaked already, new leak reveals that both the phones will have laser auto-focus and will be powered by Snapdragon 430 Octa-Core SoC.

Two new Sony’s upcoming smartphones, F3216 and F3311 have surfaced in GFXBench. The Sony F3216 has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the rumored Xperia M Ultra that surfaced recently, but this will be powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC. A report from earlier this year said that Google will release two Nexus devices this year, both made by HTC. Now @evleaks has said that those two smartphones are called M1 and S1 internally. Android Police further states that HTC’s internal model numbers are probably based upon the codenames Marlin and Sailfish, named after aquatic life.
