Major change is the 6.28-inch screen with a notch and 19:9 aspect ratio and dual front cameras.
Update: Press shots of the phone has surfaced in Black and Blue colors, again revealing triple rear cameras and fingerprint sensor on the right sides, below the volume rockers.

This reveals a 6.26-inch FHD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch, Snapdragon 636 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM, Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI on top, a 12-megapixel rear camera with flash along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera for AI portraits and AI scene detection as well as 20-megapixel front camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera.

LG has scheduled an event on October 3rd where it will introduce its next flagship V40 ThinQ smartphone, few months after the introduction of the V35 ThinQ.
