NVIDIA has announced its SHIELD gaming console at the Game Developers Conference (GDC). The console is powered by NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor with 256-core Maxwell architecture GPU, 64-bit CPU and runs on Android TV OS. It will have over 50 Android titles optimized for SHIELD, including Crysis 3, Doom 3: BFG EditionT and Borderlands: TPS. This is the the world’s first Android TV console, which delivers video, music, apps and games to the home, says the company. Samsung announced ISOCELL, its advanced pixel technology for CMOS image sensors back in 2013, now at the MWC 2015 it introduced and 8-megapixel RWB (Red-White-Blue) image sensor based image sensor for front-facing cameras for mobile devices. The Samsung 8-megapixel sensor (S5K4H5YB) uses 1.12um ISOCELL pixel and has a 1/4inch optical format.

Asus has launched the Fonepad 7 (FE171CG) and MeMO Pad 8 (ME581CL) tablets in India. The new Fonepad 7 was unveiled at the CES earlier this year and packs a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU, comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The MeMO Pad 8 (ME581CL) that was announced at the Computex last year has a 8-inch (1200×1920 pixels) IPS display, is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor, comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera.
