Uros GoodSpeed Mobile Hotspot with 10 SIM cards aims to say good bye to steep roaming charges

Meet the Goodspeed Mobile Hotspot which is a 3G MiFi with 10 , yes ten sim card slots. The product comes from  a Finnish company Uros founded by 2 Ex-Nokia employees.The Goodspeed is a special MiFi or Wireless hotspot which automatically uses any of the 10 SIM cards depending on your current location for internet access. Samsung Galaxy Chat now available in India for Rs. 8499


Samsung Galaxy Chat (B5330) is now available in India from online retailer Saholic. It was announced in July and packs in a 3.0-inch (240×320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and has a full QWERTY keyboard. It is powered by a 850 MHz processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 2MP camera at the back and also lets you launch the camera and directly from the lock screen. Samsung Galaxy S3 price drops to Rs. 34900


Samsung Galaxy S3 has got a price cut in India, and is available for Rs. 34900 from select online retailers in India. TheGalaxy S3 was launched in India in May for a MRP of Rs. 43,180, and the Garnet Red version went on sale last week for a MOP of Rs. 37,500. The Galaxy S3 price is now on-par with the HTC One X . Galaxy Note II sales expected to top 20 million says Samsung

When Samsung announced its phablet, the Galaxy Note, it was not expected to become the hugely successful product it is today. Cumulative sales for the crossover between a phone and a tablet have crossed 10 million units. Last month, the Korean manufacturer announced its successor called the Galaxy Note II.

Datawind launches 4 new 7-inch Ubislate Tablets running Android 4.0

Datawind, the company behind the low-cost Aakash tablets has launched 4 new 7-inch tablets, UbiSlate 7Ri, UbiSlate 7R+, UbiSlate 7Ci an d UbiSlate 7C+. These tablets come with a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) display and run on Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich). These are powered by Cortex A8, 1 GHz processor and has 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and a front-facing camera. Some models also have GPRS data support. Nokia Lumia 900 now available in India for Rs. 32999


Nokia Lumia 900 finally goes on sale in India as they promised. The Nokia Lumia 900 with LTE support was originally launched exclusively for AT&T in the U.S. and it was announced for the global markets at MWC earlier this year.  The Lumia 900 packs in a 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display and is powered by 1.4GHz single-core processor. Sistema to acquire Aircel for $3 billion

Sistema, Russia’s largest investment company is all set to acquire a controlling stake in Aircel Communications for around $3 billion (~Rs. 16,500 crore) according to a report from The Economic Times. Malaysia’s Maxis Communications owns 74% stake in Aircel that has about 65 million subscribers. Epson has launched Moverio BT-100, the world’s first Android-based, see-through wearable display. It has 6 hours of rechargeable battery life and has a 1GB of internal memory with an additional microSD card slot. It also has WiFi connectivity and Adobe flash support to stream online videos. MediaTek MT6577 1GHz dual-core processor to power Spice Stellar Horizon and Micromax A90

Semiconductor manufacturer MediaTek has announced that the Spice Stellar Horizon (Mi-500) and the Micromax A90 would come with a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor. The Micromax A90 Superfone Pixel was originally launched in India last month for Rs. 12990, and we reviewed it recently. It had a MediaTek MT6575 single-core processor instead of a dual-core processor, as it was announced during the launch. The Spice Stellar Horizon (Mi-500) that was launched in June at Rs. 11,999 was expected to come with a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, but it was delayed for several months.Now it is confirmed that it would come with a MediaTek MT6577 processor instead. Apple iPhone 5 Launch Countries and Rollout

Apple will be launching the iPhone on September 21 in 9 countries – Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, the US and the UK.  Apple will begin taking pre-orders in these countries this Friday September 14. Interestingly UK, Singapore and Hong Kong are countries in which Apple sells iPhones at the full price and mostly unlocked.  If you plan to be one of the 1st to own the iPhone 5 and live outside the US, may be you should ping your friends in these 3 countries or may be take an iVacation. Call me crazy but I still have my 1st iPhone which I got in 2007 and guess what ? it still works. Sony Xperia miro is now available for pre-order from online retailer Flipkart in India. It was announced in June and packs in a 3.5-inch (320×480 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display, 800 MHz processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
