LG has started teasing about the New York event on August 7th that leaves several hints that points out to the Optimus G2 launch. The invite has G and 2 in capital letters. Specifications of the device leaked last week. The rumored specifications include, 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor , Android 4.2 with Optimus Ui, 2GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash. Micromax has launched the Canvas 4, the company’s latest flagship smartphone. The company stared teasing the phone in photos and videos last month and it went on pre-order at the end of last month and it says that the phone has got about 4000 pre-orders in the first 24 hours. The Canvas 4 has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with corning gorilla glass protection, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with Dual SIM support with dual standby similar to other Micromax smartphones. There were number of leaks about the Apple’s budget iPhone. Now purported high-res images and a video of the phone has surfaced again on a website techdy which got hold of the phone. According to the website the phone would a 4-inch display at a resolution of 1136 x 640 similar to the iPhone 5, instead of aluminium, the budget iPhone would have a plastic or polycarbonate build and would have a shape similar to Apple’s original iPod. Now the twitter user has leaked the first press image of the Droid Maxx. Datawind, the company behind the popular low-cost Aakash tablet has announced a partnership with CricHQ, global cricket technology company. With this partnership, Datawind would be pre-installing the CricHQ app on all their Ubislate tablets.
