HTC started rolling out the Android 4.2.2 over-the-air (OTA) update for the International users starting from Taiwan last week. Now CNET reports that a spokesperson has told them that the update will roll out sometime this week to owners in Asia. We are not sure which part of Asia would get the update first.

The HTC One Android 4.2.2 update would bring Launcher bar enhancement, Widget panel rearrangement, New lock screen style and widget, Enhanced behavior of the home button, Home button options to make navigation menu bar removable, Battery percentage in the status bar, Quick settings, AE/AF enhancements in the camera, New Zoe format for better file management, 6 more theme music in the video highlights, Seek, fast/back, forward function to enhance user experience in Music channel and lots more. CNET adds that that the update would also bring improved BlinkFeed with option to pull feeds from Instagram and WeChat.

Hope HTC rolls out the Android 4.2.2 update for Indian users soon.
