Sony Mobile has announced the Xperia T2 Ultra and its dual SIM variant, the Xperia T2 Ultra dual. These have a 6” (1280 x 720 pixels) HD TRILUMINOS Display for mobile with X-Reality picture engine, powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). These pack a 13-megapixel rear camera Sony Exmor RS sensor, LED flash and 1080p video recording and a 1.1-megapixel HD front-facing camera with Sony Exmor R sensor.
Vodafone India has launched K4201, the company’s latest 3G USB dongle that offers download speeds up to 21.1 Mbps its post-paid customers. Micromax unveiled the Canvas LapTab, the company’s first dual-boot Android and Windows 8.1 tablet at the CES 2014 last week. Now PTI reports that the tablet would be priced under $500 or Rs. 30,000 when it launches in India sometime in Q1 2014. The Canvas LapTab has a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS touch screen display, powered by a 1.46 GHz Intel Celeron N2805 processor along with 2GB of RAM. Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) update for the Galaxy Note 3 starting from Poland, according to a report from Sammobile. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was the first phone from Samsung to run on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) out of the box. The company released their Galaxy Tablets at the CES 2014 last week running on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Looks like the Note 3 is the first Samsung smartphone to run on Android 4.4. Samsung has dropped the price of the Galaxy Gear Smartwatch in India to Rs. 18,999, as reported by Mahesh Telecom. The Samsung Galaxy Gear was launched in India back in September last year at a price tag of Rs. 22,990, soon after it was announced at the IFA. It has a 1.63 inch (320 x 320 pixels) Super AMOLED display, powered by a 800 MHz processor and packs a 315 mAh battery. The Auxus Xenea X1 smartphone has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with Mali-400 GPU and the Auxus CoreX8 3G tablet packs a a 7.85-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) multi-touch display and is powered by a 1.6 GHz + 1.2 GHz Samsung Exynos 5410 processor with Tri-core PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU. Nvidia spilled the beans on its brand new Tegra K1 processor earlier this week at CES and it looks like the new fangled chipset will form the core of the next gen Surface RT tablet. Nvidia’s new chip dubbed the Tegra K1 sports 192 Kepler cores and has a new CPU as well. The K1 chip will ship in two variants. Either with a quad core ARM A15 CPU or a dual core 64 bit Project Denver CPU, the specifics of the latter are still somewhat murky. One of the most requested features on Windows Phone(since 7), creating folders on the start screen, has been fulfilled by Nokia in its latest firmware update “Lumia Black”. The update, slated to be available for all Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices, was already available for the Lumia 1520 and the Lumia 1020(AT&T), but begins its official rollout with the brand new folders feature today. Nokia has been the clear leader in Windows Phone, so it bringing a highly requested feature is nothing new, as we have seen so many features being implemented by the company in the past. The new folders feature will just be one among the many that Nokia users will get with the latest Lumia Black update that will eventually roll out to all the Windows Phone 8 Lumia devices soon.

Its not been too long since the iPhone 5s was released but as the rumor mill goes, we’re already seeing the first hints towards what may be the next generation iPhone. Going by historical precedence, the next gen iPhone or the iPhone 6 as it might be called will be a major upgrade. Online reports suggest that Apple will finally take a leap towards a larger device keeping in mind current consumer trends.
Now, popular Chinese technology site C Technology is showing us a glimpse of what it says is a frame of the next gen iPhone. There’s not much to go on here other than an image of a frame from a pre production sample. The surprisingly slim frame lends credence to the other rumor that the next iPhone will shrink down in thickness quite substantially. It’s still very early to make any calls on the authenticity of this leak but it looks like the stars may align on a slimmer yet larger iPhone once it launches later this year.
