Toshiba has launched Toshiba WT8, the company’s latest Windows 8.1 tablet in India. It was originally announced as Encore 2 back in May and packs a 8-inch WXGA display, is powered by a 1.33 quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor, has a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a 1-Year free Office 365 Subscription. Toshiba has partnered with Amazon.in to sell the tablet.

It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen with 3.98mm narrow bezels, powered by an Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and runs on Funtouch OS 2.0 based on Android 4.4 (KitKat).
