Vivo X5 Max with 4.75mm thin body to be announced on December 10

Vivo is all set to unveil the Vivo X5 Max smartphone at an event in China on December 10th. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 4.75mm slim body, thinner than the 4.85mm Oppo R5, which is currently the world’s slimmest smartphone. The smartphone got certified on TENAA last month. It measures 153.9 × 78 × 4.75mm and weighs 146 grams.

According to the TENAA listing, the  Vivo X5 Max is said to come with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor, Android 4.4 (KitKat), 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash,  5-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage with expansion slot (up to 128GB), support for 4G TD-LTE, TD-SCDMA connectivity and dual SIM support. It is expected to come with a metal back.

We should know other specifications and the pricing at the official Vivo X5 Max announcement next week. It is likely to launch in China first and expand to other countries later.
