Toshiba has launched Toshiba WT8, the company’s latest Windows 8.1 tablet in India. It was originally announced as Encore 2 back in May and packs a 8-inch WXGA display, is powered by a 1.33 quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor, has a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a 1-Year free Office 365 Subscription. Toshiba has partnered with Amazon.in to sell the tablet.
It has 1GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage with expansion slot and a 3788mAh battery with up to 11.1 hours of usage time. It has stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus for an immersive audio experience through Surround Virtualizer and Surround Decoder that convert two-channel stereo audio into 5.1 channels, creating a surround sound experience over built-in speakers. Wish the tablet had 3G support.
