Vivo V5s Energetic Blue color variant launched in India

Vivo launched its selfie-focused V5s smartphone in India back in April in  Crown Gold and Matte Black colors. Today it has launched the Energetic Blue color variant of the phone in the country. Apart from the color, other specifications are same, including a  20-megapixel front-facing camera with Sony IMX376 1/2.78″ sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 5p lens, selfie light, which is called ‘Moonlight Glow’, fingerprint sensor and more. Samsung has launched Galaxy On Max, its latest smartphone in the ‘On Series’. It has almost the same specifications as the Galaxy J7 Max that was launched recently, including a 5.7-inch 1080p display, Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P25 Lite SoC, Android 7.0 (Nougat), 13MP front and rear cameras with LED flash, fingerprint sensor on the front and Samsung Pay Mini for UPI and Paytm Payments, but this doesn’t have Smart Glow light around the camera. Details about Moto G5S Plus, successor of Moto G5 Plus surfaced back in May in a leaked roadmap image which revealed a 5.5-inch 1080p display and dual rear cameras for the phone. Now @evleaks has posted detailed specification of the phone. The phone is said to come with  13MP dual rear cameras with a combination of RGB and Monochrome sensors for capturing depth information for bokeh effect, background replacement and capture selective black-and-white feature. Airtel network restored after temporary outage in Delhi NCR

Airtel just confirmed that its network services in Delhi NCR have been fully restored after a temporary network outage in the circle. People in the region started tweeting about network outage around 7:30 PM, and Airtel acknowledged the issue at about 9PM. “We may be facing a temporary issue while accessing Data/Voice/SMS. We are working to restore it ASAP,” replied Airtel to the customers who were complaining.

Xiaomi shipped record 23.16 million smartphones globally in Q2 2017, India revenues up 328% YoY in H1 2017

Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun today announced that Xiaomi has shipped 23.16 million smartphones in Q2 2017, up 70% from the previous quarter, which is a new record high for the company in a quarter. This comes after a slight decline in sales for a year. Maruti Suzuki cars with SmartPlay infotainment system get Android Auto update

Maruti Suzuki has started rolling out Android Auto as part of an update to its SmartPlay infotainment system. The automakers latest models – Ignis and Dzire, already came with Android Auto. Maruti had introduced the SmartPlay infotainment system with Ciaz and that was later expanded to Ertiga, Vitara Brezza and the S-Cross. These cars will now get the Android Auto update.

Nubia has launched M2, it’s latest top-end smartphone in the ‘M Series’ in India, soon after the launch of the Nubia N2 smartphone in the country. It was announced back in March this year and packs a dual 13-megapixel rear cameras with 0.1 second PDAF and Contrast Hybrid Focus along with a 16-megapixel front camera. It has a 5.5-inch 1080 AMOLED 2.5D curved glass screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 Mobile Platform and has a fingerprint sensor on the front, but it still runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Samsung launched 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version of the Galaxy S8+ smartphone in India last month for Rs. 74,900, about Rs. 10,000 more than the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version of the phone. According to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, the phone has received a Rs. 4000 price cut, in just a month of launch.
