ZTE has kickstarted the Foldable phones tradition with the launch of Axon M last week. It is a known fact that Samsung has been busy at work with an aim to launch a foldable phone in 2018 and now it looks like Samsung has a got competition in the form of Huawei. After the launch of Mate 10, company’s CEO, Richard Yu has confirmed that Huawei is currently working on a foldable phone slated for 2018 launch.

Xiaomi smartphone with codename MET7/MEE7 showed up on TENAA yesterday showing the design of the phone with a full-screen 18:9 display, unibody metal design, camera bump and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Now the smartphone, which is expected to be Redmi Note 5 has been certified revealing complete specifications of the phone. It doesn’t reveal the processor, but it is rumored to be Snapdragon 630.

Facebook Messenger gets PayPal Peer-to-Peer Payment support

Google app teardown reveals references to Quartz, could be Google Home-like device with screen

Google has updated the app to version number V7.14.15 which has bought customization feature to the search bar widget but turns out that’s not the only thing the update had to bring with it. A little teardown of the app by Android Police revealed more information about the Quartz which is slated to the Google-Home like device with the built-in display just like the Amazon Echo show.

Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 5A back in August this year. Now a new smartphone with codename MET7 has been listed on TENAA, which is expected to be Redmi Note 5. This shows the phone’s full-screen 18:9 display, unibody metal design, camera bump and a fingerprint sensor on the back. It doesn’t show dual rear cameras as rumored earlier, but there could be a Redmi Note 5 Pro or Plus version.

Samsung 8LPP process technology ready for mass production

Samsung has announced that the 8-nanometer (nm) FinFET process technology, 8nm (Low Power Plus) has been qualified and is ready for production. The 8nm LPP newest process node will offer 10% lower power consumption and will consume 10% less area through narrower metal pitch compared to the 10LPP.

And, LinkedIn is now integrated within EMUI 8.0 OS.
