The price cut might be because of the weak sales of the phone or not the numbers the company was expecting. Xiaomi smartphone with codename MET7/MEE7 showed up on TENAA yesterday showing the design of the phone with a full-screen 18:9 display, unibody metal design, camera bump and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Now the smartphone, which is expected to be Redmi Note 5 has been certified revealing complete specifications of the phone. It doesn’t reveal the processor, but it is rumored to be Snapdragon 630.
Facebook and Paypal last year had introduced the Paypal as payment support within the messenger app and today, both the company has rolled out the ability to use Paypal account to send or receive money within the messenger app. Paypal is also launching company’s first customer service bot which will be at users service handling questions and requests for help.

Google has updated the app to version number V7.14.15 which has bought customization feature to the search bar widget but turns out that’s not the only thing the update had to bring with it. A little teardown of the app by Android Police revealed more information about the Quartz which is slated to the Google-Home like device with the built-in display just like the Amazon Echo show.
Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 5A back in August this year. Now a new smartphone with codename MET7 has been listed on TENAA, which is expected to be Redmi Note 5. This shows the phone’s full-screen 18:9 display, unibody metal design, camera bump and a fingerprint sensor on the back. It doesn’t show dual rear cameras as rumored earlier, but there could be a Redmi Note 5 Pro or Plus version.
HTC already announced that it will unveil new ‘U series’ phone at an event on November 2nd, which are expected to be high-end HTC U11 Plus and mid-range U11 Life. We had already seen an image of the U11 Life along with detailed specifications, now the first image of the Android One version of the phone has surfaced, but we don’t have a clear image yet. As we inch closer to the official launch of the iPhone X, we are hearing reports from the very famous KGI analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo who reports that only 2 to 3 million units of the iPhone X will be available at the time of the launch on November 3rd, compared to the expected demand of 40-50 million units.

Samsung has announced that the 8-nanometer (nm) FinFET process technology, 8nm (Low Power Plus) has been qualified and is ready for production. The 8nm LPP newest process node will offer 10% lower power consumption and will consume 10% less area through narrower metal pitch compared to the 10LPP.

The company has also introduced the much-awaited bug bounty program for the Play Store where it will offer $1000 for finding bugs in apps on Play Store.
Huawei has partnered with Microsoft and also Microsoft’s LinkedIn for Mate 10-series which was announced earlier this week. As a part of the partnership with Huawei, Microsoft will deliver world’s first fully neural on device translations in the Microsoft Translator app for Android which is customized for the Huawei Mate 10 series. And, LinkedIn is now integrated within EMUI 8.0 OS.
