Samsung also announced Galaxy S10 5G, the company’s first 5G smartphone along with the S10, S10+ and S10e. It is powered by Snapdragon 855 combined with the Snapdragon X50 modem for muti-gigabit 5G connectivity for both Sub-6 GHz and mmWave frequency bands. It has a large 6.7-inch Curved Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display, quad rear cameras with a primary 12-megapixel Dual Pixel and Dual Aperture primary sensor, 16-megapixel Ultra Wide Lens with a 123-degree field of view, 12-megapixel Telephoto lens and Samsung’s 3D Depth Camera for 3D-image capturing to power Video Live focus and Quick Measure

Samsung Galaxy S10e with 5.8-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display, 8GB RAM, dual rear cameras announced

Along with the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+smartphones, Samsung also introduced the Galaxy S10e at its San Francisco event, as it had promised. It has a 5.8-inch Full HD+ Flat Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display, comes with side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the power button, is powered Snapdragon 855 or Samsung Exynos 9 Series 9820 SoCs depending on the region, run Android 9.0 (Pie) with OneUI and come with Samsung services like Bixby, Samsung Health, Samsung Pay and Samsung DeX. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE with 5.97-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 712, triple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint sensor announced

Along with the Mi 9, Xiaomi also introduced the Mi 9 SE, successor of last year’s Mi 8 SE in China. It has a 5.97-inch Full HD+ Samsung AMOLED display with 90.4% screen-to-body ratio. It is the world’s first smartphone to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 712 SoC. The phone has fifth-gen in-display fingerprint sensor and retains the main 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor as well as 20-megapixel front camera from the Mi 9, but this feature an 8-megapixel telephoto lens and a 13-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens. Xiaomi just announced the Mi 9, the company’s latest flagship smartphone as it had promised. It has a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection and 90.7% screen to body ratio since it has 3.6mm small chin, making it 40% narrower than the Mi 8. It is powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform with Game Turbo with real-time CPU/GPU/FPS monitoring, up to 8GB of RAM and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10 on top.

Vivo V15 Pro with 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 675, 32MP pop-up front camera launched in India for Rs. 28990

Vivo just launched V15 Pro, the company’s latest smartphone in the V series in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display without a notch with 2.2mm top and 1.75mm side bezels offering 91.64% screen-to-body ratio, features 32-megapixel pop-up front camera and the company says that the proximity and ambient light sensors are hidden under the display. Vivo says that the pop-up camera has 0.46 second elevating speed and the mechanism has been tested over 3lakh times. It is powered by Snapdragon 675 AIE with 6GB of RAM, Dual Turbo gaming mode, eSports mode for online gaming and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with Funtouch OS 9.

Razer Phone 2 Android Pie update to roll out from February 27th; Razer lays off 2% workforce

Razer has announced that it will roll out Android Pie update to the Razer Phone 2 starting from next week. Since Razer keeps its UI close to stock, the Pie software too is pretty close what you’d find on Pixel phones. It brings gestures and they are enabled by default. However, Razer’s launcher doesn’t support the suggested apps or a long-swipe to get to the app drawer.
