Vivo V15 with 6.53-inch FHD+ display, 32MP pop-up front camera, triple rear cameras announced

After the V15 Pro last month, Vivo has introduced the V15 smartphone in Thailand. It has a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD display with 90.95% screen-to-body ratio instead of Super AMOLED display on the V15 Pro, and is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, compared to Snapdragon 675. It retains the same 32-megapixel pop-up front camera, but this features a 12-megapixel rear camera with  photosensitive units, instead of quad units. Other 5-megapixel depth sensor for portraits and an 8-megapixel camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens are retained.

Huawei Y6 2019 with 6.09-inch Dewdrop notch display, Android Pie announced

Huawei has introduced Y6 2019, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘Y series’. It has a  6.09-inch HD+ Dewdrop notch display with 87% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 SoC with 3GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI. It has a 13-megapixel camera on the back with f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel front camera with front flash toning light assisted by screen light that promises accurate portrait even in low light conditions.

Honor 20 with 6.1-inch OLED display, triple rear cameras, 32MP front camera, in-display fingerprint sensor surfaces

Huawei’s Honor brand announced the V20 smartphone in China in December, and it was later introduced for the global markets in January. Now the company is gearing up to introduce the Honor 20 with improved specifications in China. The render shows 48MP+20MP + 8MP triple rear cameras, similar to the Mate 20.  The leak also reveals 108 points in DxO mark, placing it above the Xiaomi Mi 9’s 107 score, and behind the Huawei’s own Mate 20 Pro and P20 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, but the P30 Pro that will be introduced later this month should beat this. Google begins replacing ‘Voice Match’ function with Assistant-only lock screen access

Google is removing the ability to fully unlock the phone using Voice Match on Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. At CES 2019, the company said that this feature would be coming to all Android devices. Replacing the full device unlock is the Voice Match recognition on phones and tablets can now only provide Assistant “personal results,” like email and calendar entries. Vivo iQOO gaming smartphone with 6.41-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855, up to 12GB RAM, in-display fingerprint scanner announced

Vivo’s iQOO brand has introduced its first gaming smartphone in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.41-inch Full HD+  water drop notch screen with 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 855 with liquid cooling, up to 12GB of RAM, runs Android Pie, has a 12-megapixel primary rear camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, secondary 13-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel sensor for portrait shots. There is also a 12-megapixel camera on the front.
