Nokia X71 with 6.3-inch FHD+ PureDisplay, triple rear cameras, 16MP in-screen front camera announced

HMD Global just announced Nokia X71, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in Taiwan, as it had promised. It has a 6.39-inch Full HD+ PureDisplay with 16-megapixel in-screen camera and 93% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 660 with 6GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) and has triple rear cameras that includes a 48-megapixel primary camera with ZEISS Optics, AI scene recognition, 5-megapixel camera for capturing depth information in portrait shots and an 8-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide lens.

Google no longer selling Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones

Google launched the original Pixel in October 2016 and it discontinued the sales exactly 1 and half years later in April 2018. In the same lines, Pixel 2 series were launched in October 2017, and Google is now officially stopping the sales of Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

Google rolls out April 2019 Android security update, Improves Google Assistant Voice-Unlocking, fixes screen flash issues on Pixel 3 series

Google has started rolling out new over-the-air (OTA) update for Pixel devices and also posted factory images as part of monthly Android Security release. The update for this month also includes several functional improvements for Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL that includes improvements to Voice-Unlocking performance for Google Assistant and fixes screen flash issues on some devices. OPPO Reno with 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 48MP rear camera teased in official renders

OPPO is all set to announce  its Reno series on April 10. After case renders of the smartphone and TENAA certification last week, the smartphone has been teased by an online retailer in China with complete set of renders. This shows the no-notch  6.4-inch AMOLED screen, dual rear cameras, including a Sony IMX586 48MP main camera.

LG K12+ with 5.7-inch FullVision display, military-level durability announced

LG has announced K12+ (LG-LMX420), the company’s latest smartphone in the K series in Brazil, after it surfaced recently. It has similar specifications as the K40 that was introduced as the MWC earlier this year. The LG K12+ has a 5.7-inch HD+ FullVision 18:9 aspect ratio screen, is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with 3GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo), features a 16-megapixel rear camera with AI and an 8-megapixel front camera, both with LED flash.

Apple officially discontinues AirPower citing hardware limitations
