Revolt Motors today announced RV 400, which is India’s first fully electric AI-enabled motorcycle. Former Micromax CEO Rahul Sharma is the Founder and Chief Revolutionary Officer of the company. At the launch event he shared details about several partners including BOSCH, Amazon for online orders, MRF for the tyres, Airtel for connectivity, Google, ATL for the battery, SOCO for designing the bike, QSMOTOR and more. The company says that the bike will offer up to 85km/h speed and a single charge will offer up to 156km distance.

Facebook just announced its plans to launch Libra, a new global currency powered by blockchain technology in 2020. It will be available as a standalone app and also support payments in Messenger and WhatsApp. Facebook subsidiary Calibra digital wallet will let you send Libra to others using an app instantly. It will eventually introduce several services such as paying bills instantly, scan a code to buy things and use it to pay for local public transit.

Google Pay today introduced its new Tez Shots mini game inside the Google Pay app in India that lets you score runs to win scratch cards worth up to Rs. 3300. Airtel today launched 4G services in Lakshadweep, and the company claims that it is the first mobile operator to launch 4G services in the island, however BSNL had launched 4G services in Kavaratti back in November last year. Airtel 4G services will be available in Agatti, Bangaram and Kavaratti to begin with and will be gradually expanded to other islands of the archipelago. A rumor from last year revealed that Apple will launch new iPhone models with 5G support in 2020. A recent report said that 3 OLED iPhones including a smaller 5.42-inch model will arrive next year. Now, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that Apple will launch three iPhones that include models with 5.4-inch and 6.7-inch AMOLED displays and 5G support, as well as a low-end 6.1-inch OLED version with 4G LTE support in 2020. Xiaomi today announced that Holitech Technology which is its key component supplier has inaugurated its first component manufacturing plant in India located in Greater Noida in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The company was invited by Xiaomi back in Q1 2018 to investigate local manufacturing opportunities during its ‘Supplier Investment Summit’. Last year Holitech Technology signed an MOU with the state of Andhra Pradesh to start local manufacturing in the city of Tirupati.
