Lenovo launched the A6000 smartphone in India back in January this year. It started selling the smartphone in flash sales exclusively on Flipkart every week from January end. Today the company launched the A7000, successor of the A6000 in India at a price tag of Rs. 8,999. Few hours back Lenovo A6000 page on Flipkart has been updated with the information that the product has permanently been discontinued. Lenovo has launched the A7000 smartphone in India, as expected. It was unveiled at the MWC 2015 earlier this month, packs a 5.5-inch HD screen, 1.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752M 64-bit processor, Android 5.0 (Lollipop), 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Infocus has officially launched its Infocus M330 smartphone in India, few days after it appeared on Snapdeal. It has a 5.5-inch HD display, is powered a Octa-Core MediaTek processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Sony Exmor R sensor and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. InFocus has partnered with Snapdeal once again to sell the smartphone. Gionee has launched the Elife S7, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the S series. It was announced at the MWC last month and packs a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6752 64-bit processor and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Amigo 3.0 UI on top. Even the back is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is 5.5mm thick and has aircraft grade Al-Mg alloy frame.

It was announced at the CES earlier this year and packs a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor ( four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz per core and four clocked at 1.0 GHz) with Adreno 405 GPU and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top. It adopts the Desire 820’s design and even has dual front-facing stereo HTC BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio. It comes with dual SIM support and has 4G connectivity. Microsoft has sent out invites for the launch of its new Lumia smartphone. The invite Lumia 640 with a tag line Inspiration doesn’t only work 9 to 5! Lumia 640 Dual SIM, Lumia 640 XL Dual SIM and Lumia 640 XL LTE Dual SIM are listed on the official Microsoft India website, so we can expect all these smartphones to launch next week. These smartphones were announced at the MWC last month.

Micromax has announced that it will start rolling out Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update for its Unite 2 A106 smartphone starting from April 7th.
