The Galaxy J7 packs a 3000mAh Lithium Ion removable battery. It has a 5.5-inch HD screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Lenovo PHAB Plus, that company’s latest phablet is now available from Amazon.in in India. It was first announced in China back in August and was announced globally at the IFA in September. It packs a 6.8-inch 1080p screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Lenovo’s own Vibe UI on top, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. InFocus introduced the M370, its budget 4G smartphone in India back in July. We reviewed the smartphone recently. Today the company has opened registrations for the sale of the smartphone, which closes on 8th October at 8PM and the phone will be available exclusively on Snapdeal starting from October 9th. YU launched the YUPHORIA smartphone back in May for Rs. 6,999, which went on sale on exclusively on Amazon at the end of May. Today the company has announced a Rs. 500 price cut for the smartphone, which now comes with stock Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) instead of Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). Homegrown mobile handset maker Intex is strengthening its manufacturing initiatives further in India. The company is looking forward to set up a Rs 1,000 Cr manufacturing facility at Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh, as per a latest report from PTI.

Gionee has sent out invites for the launch of its flagship Elife E8 smartphone in the E series in India on October 8th. The company also announced that it will enter into e-commerce space, so we can expect for it to announce tie-up with a leading e-commerce player in India to sell the smartphone exclusively. Motorola launched its mid-range Moto X Play smartphone in India last month starting at Rs. 18,499. Now the company has started teasing the launch of its high-end Moto X Style smartphone in India on its social channels. The Moto X Style was announced back in July, along with the Moto X Play.

Google unveiled the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P smartphones at an event earlier this week. Flipkart has started teasing the launch of the Huawei-made Nexus 6P smartphone in India. This time Flipkart doesn’t have a ticker to show the pre-order date of the latest Nexus smartphone, like it did for last year’s Nexus 6 launch. Since the smartphone is shipping for pre-ordered customers later this month in some countries, we can expect the pre-order to start in India later this month and it might go on sale next month. It got certified in China back in June and packs a 5.5-inch HD display, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752M 64-bit processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with HTC’s own Sense UI. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an UltraPixel front-facing camera.

Micromax has launched Bolt Q339, the company’s latest entry-level smartphone with 3G connectivity. It has 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, runs on Android 4.4, has a 5-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Indian variant is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 7580 64-bit processor that has eight ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.50 GHz per core, instead of Snapdragon 615 SoC in the Chinese variant. It has Mali-T720 GPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 5.5-inch 1080p screen and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop).
