Huawei has released Android 5.1 (Lollipop) update for the Honor 4C and Honor 6 smartphones in India. The Honor 4C actually got the update on September 21st, earlier this week, and the Honor 6 got the update today, as the company promised last month. This is the third year running that Motorola have announced updates in the Moto X series of smartphones. However, this year is a little bit different as they introduced not one but 2 new smartphones in the X series. The first is a high-end model known as the Moto X Style and the second is a mid-ranger known as the Moto X Play. The X Play was recently launched in India at really competitive prices i.e Rs 18,499 for the 16GB version and Rs 19,999 for the 32GB version. Uber has rolled out new safety feature in India that secures the phone numbers of the riders and drives for a better privacy. Notion Ink has launched new Cain Signature Black Edition version of its 2-in-1 that comes with a Active Stylus pen for sketching, drawing and scribbling and Windows 10 out of the box. The stylus pen that is worth Rs. 3200 is compatible with all other capacitive touch devices as well. It takes in AAA battery and doesn’t require any set up. Micromax Canvas Fire 4G was announced earlier this month at a MediaTek event and the Canvas Blaze 4G Q400 went on sale online yesterday, today the company has launched these smartphones along with another 4G smartphone, the Canvas Play 4G with a 5.5-inch HD screen and a 13-megapixel rear camera. iBall launched Slide Brillante, the company’s first tablet with Intel Atom x3-C3130 chip earlier this week. Now the tablet is available from eBay, along with the iBall Slide 6351-Q400i budget WiFi-only tablet that is also available on eBay. Both these tablets have a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display, run on Android 4.4 (Kitkat), have a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. vivo Y27L, the company’s latest smartphone is now available in India from offline stores, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom. Last month there were reports that Motorola is planning to sell their smartphones through offline retail stores. Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) is not exclusively to Flipkart anymore.
