Alcatel One Touch Scribe Easy

Alcatel One Touch launched the One Touch Idol and One Touch Idol Ultra Android smartphones last week in India for Rs. 15800 and Rs. 21000 respectively. Now the Alcatel One Touch Scribe Easy (8000D) is available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. It was announced at the MWC 2013 earlier this year and packs a 5-inch (480 x 800 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display, powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, 720p HD video recording and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It has HD sound and dedicated touch pen and magnetic MagicFlip. Vodafone’s “All-in-one” plans for Samsung Galaxy S4 detailed

The Samsung Galaxy S4 just launched in India today, and part of the announcement was the exclusive partnership with Vodafone for bundle offers. Vodafone, one of India’s largest mobile operators has special plans for the Galaxy S4, which we slightly touched upon in the launch post, and now we are going into the details. First of all, it is called a “All-in-one” plan which means voice, text and data is included in this plan. Unlimited data and generous amounts of voice were described as a part of the offers, so lets dig in and see what the details are.

Celkon, known for its cheap value for money Android phones, including its new A119 Signature HD that we reviewed recently, has been spotted of selling its new low end Android device, the Celkon A62 on Snapdeal. The device comes with a huge 4.7 inch screen, with a resolution of 854×480 pixels. While it may not sound really exciting, we must remind you that it costs Rs. 6,799/- which is probably one of the few devices that have a huge screen at this price.

Samsung today launched the much awaited Galaxy S4 android smartphone in India at an event here in Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon. This 5 inch full HD flagship device from Samsung which will go on sale starting tomorrow April 27th, is priced at Rs. 41,500. As expected, the 1.6 GHz Octa-core variant of the Galaxy S4 will be made available for the Indian market. The device will first go on sale in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore tomorrow and all over India after that. It comes bundled with a Vodafone offer, unlimited 3G internet with FUP, 3000 minutes worth of local and STD voice calls, 750 local and national messages. Micromax has announced that the company has sold over 1 million units of their flagship Canvas series of smartphones. Micromax launched the A100 Superfone Canvas back in August 2012, and the launched it’s successor, the A110 Canvas 2 back in November last year. The company unveiled the A116 Canvas HD with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor back in January, which was the most successful device in the Canvas series. Samsung Galaxy S4 launching at Reliance Digital stores on April 27th

Looks like Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S4 in India through multiple channels. The much anticipated Android phone will be launched at Reliance Digital Stores across India on April 27th with a launch party for pre-booking customers in the evening in Mumbai. Certain outlets have started pre-bookings since yesterday. We had reported today morning about the Galaxy S4 going on sale on Samsung’s official online store on 27th.

Asus launched the Fonepad in India yesterday at a price tag of Rs. 15999. We brought you the unboxing of the device earlier this week. Here are the benchmarks of the device. The Fonepad is powered by a 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Lexington Z2420 single-core processor with Power VR SGX540 GPU. Xolo launched the X500 powered by this processor earlier this year. Samsung Galaxy S4 to go on sale in India from the official eStore on 27th April

Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy S4 in India tomorrow, April 26th. The phone would go on sale from their official eStore on 27th April, a day after the launch, and would also ship on the same day. Samsung would usually start pre-booking for their flagship devices before the launch, but just the registration page went live few weeks back. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S4 at an event in New York last month. The company had already conducted the Galaxy S4 World Tour 2013 in London, Seoul and Hong Kong. Fly F45s with 4.5-inch IPS display, Android 4.1 launched for Rs. 11500

Fly Mobiles has launched the Fly F45s, the company’s latest Android smartphone. It has a 4.5-inch (960 × 540 pixels) qHD capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 12-megapixel auto focus camera with LED Flash that can take 80 burst shots. It also has a 3-megapixel front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support with dual standby. Videocon is also expected to launch the A47 with a 4.7-inch qHD display, Android 4.1 and a 12MP camera. The Celkon A119 Signature HD that we reviewed recently has a 5-inch HD display, but most of the features are similar to the Fly F45S.
