Xolo A800 gets the Android Jelly Bean update


Xolo has released the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update for the A800. The phone was released back in December last year running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Xolo has mentioned it as Android 4.2 on the Facebook page, but it’s actually Android 4.1.1, which comes pre-loaded on Xolo A1000 and the Q800. Xolo Q1000 with 5-inch HD display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.2 spotted online

Xolo is all set to release the Q1000, the company’s flagship Android smartphone in the Q Core series. The phone has surfaced on online retail site Flipkart. It would come with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display at 295 PPI similar to the A1000 that was launched earlier this year. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a  8MP auto focus camera at the back with LED Flash and a BSI (Back Side Illumination) sensor for low-light imaging and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera. Idea Cellular has launched two new Android smartphones, Idea ID-920 and Idea Aurus III. The Idea ID 920 is the successor of the ID 918 that was launched last year and the Aurus III is the successor of the Aurus II that was launched last month. The ID 920 has a 3.5 inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and runs on Android 2.3 ( Gingerbread). The Aurus III has a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Both these smartphones are powered by a 1 GHz processor and comes with Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support. Micromax A110Q screenshot leaks, to run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean?

There were rumors about the Micromax A110Q for the past week few week, now the first screenshot of the phone’s about page has leaked by an anonymous tipster to the MMXNewscaster. It reveals that the phone would run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Build number and custom build version matches the build.prop file from the installer package that leaked recently.  This doesn’t reveal much details other than these details. Karbonn A4+, successor of the Karbonn A4 in the Smart series is now available from online retailer Saholic. It has a 4.0-inch (480 × 800 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It packs a 3.2-megapixel rear camera, but it  lacks a front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support with dual standby and has 2G (EDGE) connectivity. ZTE to enter Indian Smartphone market with 5 new phones by October 2013

ZTE Telecom India, owned by of China’s ZTE Corp has announced that it would enter the Indian market with its range of smartphones and tablets later this year. The company would launch 5 smartphones ranging from Rs 5,799 to Rs 14,999 These smartphones would be available in all the major by the end of October, said the company. The company also plans to launch their tablets followed by it.
