Intex Aqua 3G with 4-inch display, dual-core processor launched for Rs. 3555


Intex Aqua 3G

Intex has launched Aqua 3G, the company’s latest entry-level smartphone with 3G support in the Aqua series. It has a 4-inch WVGA screen, powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera without flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has 3G connectivity and comes with dual SIM support, similar to most other Intex smartphones.

Looks like this is one of the cheapest 3G smartphones in the market. This would compete with Micromax Bolt series and Lava smartphones in the similar price range.

Commenting on the new launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Business Head – Mobiles, said

The Intex Aqua 3G comes in Black, Silver and White colors and is priced at Rs. 3,555. It would be available through Intex retail stores, hypermarkets and leading e-commerce portals across India. The company plans to launch 8 more models in Aqua range during the next quarter.
