Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand 2 in White in India, back in January this year. In February, Black and Pink variants of the smartphone went on sale in India. Now the Gold variant of the Grand 2 has appeared on the official Samsung India eStore. It has a leather-like removable back cover similar to other color variants and has black bezel on the front.

It packs a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display based on one-glass-solution technology, powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592T processor with Mali 450 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Aircel has tied up with Saavn, a music streaming to launch Aircel Music Mornings to offer data-free access to Saavn’s comprehensive music catalog between the 6 AM and 9 AM everyday. Under this offer Aircel pre-paid customers can enjoy music on Saavn for three hours everyday for one month without being charged for data usage. Oppo has launched the N1 mini, the company’s latest smartphone in India as expected. The main highlight of the phone is its 13-megapixel rotating camera with 1/3.2″ Sony IMX214 stacked sensor, 6-element lens, f/2.0 aperture, LED flash. iBall Andi 5K Panther, the company’s latest smartphone in the Andi series is now available from eBay.in. It has a 5-inch qHD (960 × 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Asus launched the Zenfone 5 smartphone in India last month along with the other smartphones in the Zenfone series. It went on sale on Flipkart and authorised Asus channels soon after the launch starting at just Rs. 9,999, but it went out of stock on Flipkart in just four days after the launch. Today, the company has announced that the Zenfone 5 would be back on stock on Flipkart with 10,000 units available for sale starting tomorrow, August 9th. Microsoft unveiled the Lumia 530 Dual SIM, the latest budget Windows Phone 8 handset last month. Snapdeal has started taking pre-orders for the smartphone in India exclusively. The Lumia 530 has a 4-inch FWVGA display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, runs on Windows Phone 8.1 and has a 5-megapixel fixed focus rear camera, but lacks a front-facing camera. Google is back with its Google Play discounted sale. Earlier this year Google celebrated Google Play’s second birthday by offering some games, but it was not impressive compared to the first birthday sale.Today Google has started its new offer that lets you get films and e-books at discounted rates in new sale called “The Great Monsoon Sale”. Asus ZenFone 4 is the cheapest of all the three smartphones from the Zenfone series. The entry-level phone, launched in India last month for Rs 5,999, aims to offer great value for the price it comes at. ASUS has launched the phone in two versions viz, the A400CG and A450CG. The former has a 4 inch screen and a 5-megapixel camera, whereas the latter, which is not available for sale in India yet, has a 4.5-inch screen and an 8-megapixel camera. Xiaomi drew a lot of flak for not meeting the demand that their first India launch, the Mi 3 saw. Along with the Mi 3, Xiaomi announced a couple of other devices including the cost-effective Redmi 1S and the octa-core monster, the Redmi Note.
OPPO had been teasing the N1 mini via their social feeds through the past week or so. The N1 mini, as the name suggests, is the mini version of the OPPO N1 that happens to be the Chinese phone maker’s first phone in India, launched back in January.
