Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, the company’s latest flagship tablet in the Tab S range in India earlier this month. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition and the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 had 2560×1600 WQXGA resolution screens, this is the first time Samsung has used WQXGA Super AMOLED display on a tablet. Second batch of Xiaomi Mi3 India units to go on sale today

The duo of China’s Xiaomi and India’s Flipkart is all set to open sale for the Xiaomi Mi3 smartphone later today.

This will now be the second time that the device goes on sale in the country on Flipkart. Earlier, the Mi3 went on sale on the 22nd this month when stocks vanished in a matter of under 40 minutes. Flipkart and Xiaomi would hope to repeat the successful sale sans the server crash that Flipkart had to face.

Amazon to open five new fulfillment centers in India

Amazon has announced that it plans to open five more Fulfillment Centers (FCs) in Delhi, Chennai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Tauru (outskirts of Gurgaon). The move comes from the e-commerce giant to enhance its services to its customers.

Airtel launches 4G LTE services in Nagpur

Airtel has launched 4G services in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The company already offers 4G services in Pune, Maharashtra since 2012. It launched 4G services in Patiala, Punjab last week. Nagpur is the 14th city in the country to get Airtel 4G, said the company. Customers in Nagpur too can access 4G on dongles and Wi-Fi CPEs (Customer Premise Equipment/ routers). 4G on mobile is not available in the city yet.
