Lenovo has today launched its Smart Band Cardio 2 HX06H in India expanding its wearable lineup. The Smart Band sports an OLED display, is water resistant up to 50 meters, features a dynamic heart rate monitor, sleep monitor, sedentary reminder and more.
Cardiogram and Fitbit have partnered to bring Cardiogram’s suite of health monitoring features to Fitbit wearables. The Cardiogram app uses heart rate and sleep data from wearable devices and displays it on a user’s phone with insights and tracking. Earlier this year, Samsung announced its new fitness tracking devices-the Galaxy Fit and an affordable Galaxy Fit e. Today, the company has officially launched the wearables in India and are designed for millennials and Gen Z, according to Samsung. The Galaxy Fit e features a 0.74-inch PMOLED display and the other hand the Galaxy Fit features a 0.95-inch Full-Color AMOLED, NFC wireless charging and more.
Xiaomi’s Mi Ecosystem brand MIJIA just announced the most expected Mi Band 4 at an event in China, as it had promised. It has a 0.95-inch AMOLED color touch screen display, which is 39.9% bigger than the predecessor so that it can display more characters and is protected by 2.5D scratch-resistant glass. It has 77 different watch faces. The band is also 5ATM water resistant so that you can take it for swimming under 50 meters. Expanding the lineup, today, the company has released a teaser of a new smartwatch launch on June 11 in China. The worldwide market for wearable devices grew 31.4% during the Q4 2018, reaching a new high of 59.3 million units according to IDC Worldwide Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker. Huawei’s Honor Brand has launched Honor Band 4 Running Edition in India, after it was announced along with the Honor View20 and the Honor Watch Magic last month It recently launched the Honor Band 4 in the country. It has a 0.5-inch POLED display and comes with 6-axis sensor that offers improved running detection by measuring cadence, step length, ground contact time, foot strike pattern, landing impact, eversion excursion and swing angle
