Earlier this year, Samsung announced its new fitness tracking devices-the Galaxy Fit and an affordable Galaxy Fit e. Today, the company has officially launched the wearables in India and are designed for millennials and Gen Z, according to Samsung. The Galaxy Fit e features a 0.74-inch PMOLED display and the other hand the Galaxy Fit features a 0.95-inch Full-Color AMOLED, NFC wireless charging and more.
Xiaomi’s Mi Ecosystem brand MIJIA just announced the most expected Mi Band 4 at an event in China, as it had promised. It has a 0.95-inch AMOLED color touch screen display, which is 39.9% bigger than the predecessor so that it can display more characters and is protected by 2.5D scratch-resistant glass. It has 77 different watch faces. The band is also 5ATM water resistant so that you can take it for swimming under 50 meters. Huami’s Amazfit has been launching new products in China recently like Amazfit Verge Lite and Amazfit Bip Lite. Expanding the lineup, today, the company has released a teaser of a new smartwatch launch on June 11 in China. Confirming the launch, Qualcomm China also posted some features of the smartwatch including Wear 3100 chipset, e-SIM support and more.
Mi Fit is the official app for Mi wearable devices, the app also works with various smart products such as Smart Scales and Smart Shoes developed by Xiaomi and it’s partners. Fitbit has launched new products; the Fitbit Versa Lite Edition, Fitbit Inspire HR and Fitbit Inspire in India and Fitbit Ace 2 will be available soon. The company says that these are designed to prioritize health and fitness and make it more accessible to consumers across the globe. The worldwide market for wearable devices grew 31.4% during the Q4 2018, reaching a new high of 59.3 million units according to IDC Worldwide Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker. Huawei’s Honor Brand has launched Honor Band 4 Running Edition in India, after it was announced along with the Honor View20 and the Honor Watch Magic last month It recently launched the Honor Band 4 in the country. It has a 0.5-inch POLED display and comes with 6-axis sensor that offers improved running detection by measuring cadence, step length, ground contact time, foot strike pattern, landing impact, eversion excursion and swing angle
Apart from the Galaxy Watch Active, Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Fit and Fit E. The company claims these are made for all types of fitness enthusiasts, from casual runners to athletes.
