The iPad was not the first tablet to be launched in the market. Several players had tried and failed in the tablet category. The iPad managed to become so popular and became a golden standard for the tablet market. 2017 marks the 7th anniversary of the iPad and over time interest in tablets has declined and the excitement around the iPad has reduced.

7 years later, Apple has managed to get consumers excited again with the introduction of the new iPad Pro devices and iOS 11 which gives a fresh lease of life for even older iPads models. Apple introduced the iPad Pro 10.5 at WWDC in June and this device replaced the iPad Pro 9.7. Here is my review of the iPad Pro 10.5 after using it for the past few weeks.

Russia’s Yota Devices has been announced YotaPhone 3 at an event at Russian Embassy in Beijing. It was first unveiled at the Russian-Chinese Expo back in June. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display along with a full-touch control on its 5.2-inch HD always-on electronic paper display (EPD) on the other side. OnePlus 3 and 3T OxygenOS 4.1.7 update brings touch latency improvements and bug fixes

Back in June OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS 4.1.5, which was quickly withdrawn and the OxygenOS 4.1.6 update was released. Google has finally confirmed that Android 8.0 ‘O’ will be called Oreo. It has also released final system images for Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Pixel C, Pixel and Pixel XL that can be downloaded from Android developer website here and also started rolling out OTA update for those who have signed up for beta program. Moto Z Play Android 7.1.1 Nougat update starts rolling out in India

Lenovo-owned Moto back in June started its first Android 7.1.1 Nougat soak test in India. After finishing three soak tests, the company has started rolling out stable Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) update in the country recently, few months after it roll out Android 7.0 (Nougat) update.
