LG Optimus L5 launching in Europe this month, will come with Dual SIM and NFC in certain markets

LG has announced that the LG Optimus L5, their mid-range phone in the L-Series that was announced at MWC 2012 would be available in Europe starting this month. It has also announced that the phone would come with dual SIM capabilities in certain markets such as Asia, CIS, Middle East, Central and South America and NFC “Tag & Play “support in Europe and North America for Mobile payment and sharing. Idea launches ID-918 Dual SIM 3G Android Smartphone for Rs. 5,994

Idea Cellular has launched ID-918, their new Dual-SIM 3G Android Smartphone. It has 3.2 inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and runs on Android 2.3 ( Gingerbread). Sony Xperia ion coming to AT&T on June 24

The Sony Xperia Ion that was announced at CES 2012 in January would finally be available on AT&T from 24th June. The global HSPA version of the phone was announced recently. It has 4.55-inch (1280 x 720 pixels ) HD Reality display and comes with 1.5Ghz dual-core processor. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and has 12MP auto focus camera with Exmor R mobile camera sensor with 1080p HD video recording and 720p HD front-facing camera. Spy shots of Nokia Vertu phone running Windows Phone 8 OS has surfaced in a Chinese site bbs.ngacn.cc. Nokia today announced their plans to sell Vertu, their luxury phone division to EQT VI in Europe, so we might not see this device. This is just an early prototype, and it’s not new that a prototype device gets leaked. Sony Ericsson Windows Phone prototype leaked earlier this year. Motorola Razr Maxx up for pre-order in India for Rs. 31,999

Motorola Razr Maxx is now available for pre-order in India from online retailer Infibeam. The LTE version, Droid Razr Maxx for Verizon was unveiled at CES 2012 earlier this year and the 3G HSPA version was announced in April. It was priced in UKin soon after that. It comes with a 3300 mAh battery, which offers up to 17.6 hours of talk-time and 607 hours standby on a single charge. It is 8.99 mm thick and weighs 145 grams.

Huawei Honor Review

Here is the FoneArena review of the Huawei Honor. It was announced last year and was showcased at MWC 2012. It was available in India in April and officially launched by mid-April. It is Huawei’s first high-end phone available in India. Let’s get into the review. has 4-inch ( 854 x 480 pixels) LCD capacitive touchscreen display and is powered by 1.4GHz single-core processor. Samsung has launched TecTiles Programmable NFC Tags that can be customized to launch apps, send text messages, share contact information, change phone settings, send text messages automatically and more, with NFC-enabled Galaxy smartphones. Nokia 808 PureView launched in India for Rs. 33,899

Nokia has finally launched the 808 PureView, their flagship camera phone with 41MP sensor. Nokia announced the Nokia 808 PureView at MWC 2012 and said it would launch in May 2012, but it was delayed. They announced last week that it would launch mid-June and sent us an invite for today’s launch event. It even got a price tag on their Nokia store yesterday. It has 4-inch (640 x 360 pixels) AMOLED CBD display with Gorilla Glass protection, 1.3 GHz processor and runs on Nokia Belle FP1 OS. It offers xLOUD audio Experience and the Xperia tipo dual has dual SIM support with one touch SIM switch key.
