
HTC has announced that their partnership with Microsoft to launch new devices Windows Phone 8 devices. These new phones would be powered by Qualcomm chips and would probably come with a dual-core processors and have high-resolution displays. LG launches Quick Voice intelligent voice recognition service for Optimus phones in Korea

LG has launched Quick Voice, their own intelligent voice recognition to compete with Apple’s Siri and Samsung S Voice. This voice recognition app would let the users call contacts, on the address book, set alarm, set appointments on the calendar and open apps. It would also let you open maps to view directions, check weather forecasts, stocks, open YouTube videos and perform web search all using voice commands. The official WinZip app is now available for Android. This would enable you open, save and preview zip files on your Android device including encrypted Zip files. Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos Dual SIM GSM Smartphone officially launched in India

Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy Ace DUOS (GT- S6802) in India. It was announced last month and went on sale earlier this month. It has Dual SIM support with hot swap function and Dual SIM always-on feature that automatically forwards calls from the phone number on SIM 2, even if a user is on the phone with SIM 1’s number. It has 3.5-inch (320 x 480 Pixels) TFT touch screen display and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS. It is powered by 832 MHz processor and has 5MP Auto Focus camera. HTC One S now available in India for Rs. 33,000

HTC One S is now available in India from online retailer Saholic. HTC announced the One S at MWC 2012 and the price of One S for India was revealed on TheMobileStore last month. The Saholic site says it has 1.5GHz dual-core processor, but according to HTC India site, it comes with 1.7 GHz processor which is Snapdragon S3 instead of S4 in some countries like US and UK. It runs on Android 4.0 ICS with HTC Sense 4 and has 4.3-inch (540×960 pixels) display, Beats Audio, and the same 8MP auto focus camera with flash, 1080p HD video recording and VGA front-facing camera present in the One X. Zync Z-990 plus 7-inch tablet running Android 4.0 launched in India for Rs. 6,490

Zync has launched the Zync Z-990 plus, successor of the Zync Z-990 that was launched this March. The new tablet has upgraded 1.5 GHz processor with MALI 400 GPU and glossy 7-inch display with similar 800 x 480 pixel resolution. It also has glossy back. Other specs are similar to the previous tablet such as 0.3 MP video calling camera and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Zync has also partnered with Ibibo to offer games in 40 categories including Teen Patti, Rummy, Can you Draw, Speed Wordz, Word War and more that comes pre-loaded in the tablet. LG Optimus L5 launching in Europe this month, will come with Dual SIM and NFC in certain markets

LG has announced that the LG Optimus L5, their mid-range phone in the L-Series that was announced at MWC 2012 would be available in Europe starting this month. It has also announced that the phone would come with dual SIM capabilities in certain markets such as Asia, CIS, Middle East, Central and South America and NFC “Tag & Play “support in Europe and North America for Mobile payment and sharing.
