Opera Mini 7.0 for Android brings improved hardware acceleration, NFC support and more


Opera Mini for Android has been updated to version 7.0 that brings new features such as OpenGLES with full Hardware Acceleration, NFC support for NFC-enabled Android 4.0 devices that lets the users to share URLs and more new features. The Opera Mini Next, preview version of Opera Mini 7.0 was launched last month.

New features in Opera Mini 7.0

 

  • OpenGLES hardware acceleration
  • Unlimited speed dials
  • Just press the star found in the address bar to add speed dials and close tabs easily with a touch (Touch phones only)
  • Improved Right-to-left text support (Arabic, Hebrew) in UI elements
  • Share URLs using NFC Beam (NFC-enable ICS devices)
  • Exit button, can be enabled in Advanced section of Options
  • Stabilization fixes
