Sony Xperia ZR Durable phone with 4.55-inch 720p display, 1.5 GHz quad-core processor announced

Sony Mobile has announced the Xperia ZR, the company’s latest Android smartphone in the Xperia series. It has a 4.55-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) Reality display with mobile Bravia Engine 2 and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ 8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU. It has a 13MP camera with LED Flash, Exmor RS sensor for HDR images and  a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing canera. It has IP55 and IP58 ratings for dust and water resistance and has PlayStation Mobile support. iBall has officially launched the Andi 5L and 5Li, the company’s latest Android smartphones. The iBall Andi 5L went on sale earlier this month, and the Andi 5Li appeared on the official website at the same time. Both these phones have a 5-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display and powered by a dual-core 1GHz Cortex A9 processor. The Andi 5L runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and the Andi 5Li comes with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).  These phones would also have dual SIM support. The Andi 5L comes  with Stylus support. Lemon Aspire A1, the company’s latest Android smartphone is now available from online retailers Infibeam and Snapdeal. It has a 5.3-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display based on one-glass solution (OGS) technology, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 8-megapixel camera with LED Flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a stylus that fits into a slot on the back of the phone. The company is calling it E-Pen. Asus launched the  Fonepad in India last month. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently, here we have the complete review of the device. The Fonepad was announced at the MWC 2013, and packs a  1.2 GHz Intel Atom Z2420 processor. Xolo launched the Xolo X500 powered by the Atom Lexington Z2420 processor earlier this year. Gionee GPad-G2 with 5.3 inch screen launched at Rs. 13,990

Indian budget Android device manufacturer, Gionee, has introduced yet another model dubbed the G Pad – G2. The G2 is the company’s 10th product over the course of three months and features a rather large 5.3 inch display. The phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor while the operating system is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It was launched last month, now the phone is finally on sale. Karbonn A7 Star, successor of the A7+ is now available from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 4.5-inch (854 ×480 pixels) FWVGA capacitive touch screen display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), similar to the Karbonn A12 that went on sale earlier this year, but this comes with 2G (EDGE) support. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor, has a 5-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. It also comes with dual SIM support with dual standby. Karbonn launched the A7 back in July and A7+ in October last year. Both these phones had a 3.5-inch screen and Android 2.3. Opera ties up with 7 Indian OEMs to pre-install Opera Mini browser on Android devices


Opera has announced that that have signed up with seven Indian mobile OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to preinstall Opera Mini browser on all their upcoming upcoming Android smartphone and Tablets. Opera partnered with Samsung last year to pre-install the Opera mini browser on their feature phones, the Samsung Star 3, Star 3 Duos and the Champ Deluxe Duos. LG Optimus L3 II and the Optimus L5 II have been priced at Rs.7199 and Rs.10499 on online retailer Infibeam. LG unveiled the Optimus L Series II devices, the Optimus L3 II, the Optimus L5 II and the Optimus L7 II and their dual SIM variants earlier this February. Last month LG launched the Optimus L3 II Dual and Optimus L7 II Dual officially, and the LG Optimus L5 II Dual went on sale recently. We reviewed the phone last month, and found that it would be better Celkon had launched it with a quad-core processor. The company has finally launched a worthy contender to the Micromax A116 Canvas HD. The A119Q comes with a similar 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) touch screen display and comes with a 12-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 3-megapixel front-facing camera. This one is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). Looks like iBall is getting ready to launch the company’s flagship Android smartphone, the Android 4.5d Quadro. The phone was spotted on the official website. It packs a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 12-megapixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED flash and a 3-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has dual microphones for noise reduction. The iBall Andi 5L went on sale last week and the Andi 5Li with Android 4.1 is expected to launch soon. Xolo is expected to launch the Q700 with a similar display, quad-core processor and Android 4.2 later this week. It has a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7225A processor.
