LG G Flex photos surface online

When Samsung announced their Galaxy Round, most people were left to wonder about the practicality of a device with curved display and curved build. We were also sure of the fact that sooner or later, other manufacturers would follow the trend and release a curved phone. As expected LG was building a curved phone as rumors started floating around the Internet about that and a couple of weeks back, the supposed official press render of LG G Flex was leaked.

The Verge were able to get some exclusive photos of the LG G Flex device from an Argentinian journalist and they have posted photos of it. You can check out the photos below.

Samsung Galaxy Gear compatibility to come to more Galaxy devices

Back in IFA 2013, when Samsung announced their first smartwatch – Galaxy Gear, it was compatible only with Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which was also unveiled at the same event. At the event, Samsung confirmed that Galaxy Gear will be compatible with more Samsung Galaxy devices in the near future and more than a month later, Samsung has released the list of devices that will be compatible with the Galaxy Gear.

Nokia Lumia 1520 vs Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom Hands On

Nokia World Event, held at Abu Dhabi was probably Nokia’s last event and the Finnish company couldn’t have said a better good-bye. The event had a lot of devices and the pick of them was Nokia’s first phablet – Lumia 1520. Nokia Lumia 1520 is also the first Windows Phone phablet, the first Windows Phone 8 smartphone to feature a quad-core processor and the first Windows Phone device to come with a 1080p display. We, at FoneArena, were present at Abu Dhabi for the event and were able to make a quick hands-on comparison video between the new Lumia 1520 and Galaxy S4 Zoom.

Nokia Lumia 1520 vs Sony Xperia Z Ultra Hands On

The final Nokia World event at Abu Dhabi was an eventful one for Windows Phone fans as Nokia finally introduced a phablet. Nokia Lumia 1520 will be known as the first Windows Phone phablet, the first Windows Phone 8 smartphone to feature a quad-core processor and the first Windows Phone device to come with a 1080p display. We bring you the hands-on comparison between Nokia’s first phablet and Sony’s first phablet- Xperia Z Ultra. Both the devices share some similarities despite being on completely different planets.

Huawei Ascend G700 and G610 now available in India for Rs. 16500 and Rs. 12499

Huawei Ascend G700 and the Ascend G610 that appeared on official website last week, is now available from online retailer Infibeam in India. The Ascend G700 packs a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The G610 has a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Both these  phones are powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processors, pack a 2150 mAh battery and run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Huawei Ascend P6 with 4.7-inch HD display now available in India online for Rs. 25750

Huawei Ascend P6 was expected to launch in India back in August, but it was delayed, now the phone is available from online retailer Infibeam in India. It was announced back in June and packs a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display based on in-cell LCD screen technology with responsive touch that works even when wearing gloves, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with new Emotion UI. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, F2.0 aperture and 4cm macro and 1080P full HD video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with auto facial-enhancing capabilities for self portraits. It appeared on the official website last week along with the Cloud X5 and packs a  4.0-inch (800 ×480 pixels) WVGA capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition launched in India for Rs. 49990

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) (SM-P601)  in India. It was announced at the IFA 2013 last month as an upgrade to the last year’s Note 10.1 that was launched in India as Galaxy Note 800. It packs a 10.1-inch (2560×1600 pixels) TFT LCD display, powered by a 1.9 GHz quad-core Exynos 5 Octa processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Samsung TouchWiz UI on top. It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a S Pen stylus with a lot of features such as S Note(Easy Chart), S Planner and Air Command: Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Write, S Finder, Pen Window.

BBM to resume roll out to iPhone and Android today but new users will be on a waiting list

It’s back. The BlackBerry Messenger, fondly known as BBM faced some intense server loads thanks to a pre-release leak on Android, which forced the company to postpone the much awaited launch. After a long wait, it looks like the company is finally up to speed and ready to launch on both iOS and Android today, resuming where it left off on iOS and completely starting afresh on Android. According to the official blog, you should be hopefully seeing the BBM app popup on the App Store, Google Play and the Samsung Apps Store any time in the next few hours. We’ll posting the links here once it goes live. Meanwhile you can check how it looks in an iPhone, in our hands on post that we did earlier.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Samsung was the first company to introduce a 5inch+ phablet and they started it off with their original Samsung Galaxy Note. Initially, the Samsung Galaxy Note was not well received by the critics, but soon the adoption of the big display device among the users made it a hit. Samsung followed up the success of the original Samsung Galaxy Note with the second version – Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was launched at IFA 2012 and went on to become one of the greatest hits for Samsung. After having given back to back successful Galaxy Note products, Samsung was expected to come up with another champion of a phablet at IFA 2013 and Samsung did not disappoint. Samsung announced the third iteration of their Note series at IFA 2013 in Berlin – Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Being the successor of a very successful Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the Galaxy Note 3 had a lot of promises to fulfill. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is an update over the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in almost all the terms and lets check out if it is worth the upgrade.
