Gionee recently launched their flagship – Gionee Elife E6 in India for Rs. 22,999. Among the various features of Gionee Elife E6, some of the most notable ones include its 5inch Full HD display(pixel density of 441ppi), 1.5GHz MediaTek Quadcore MT6589T processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. In terms of camera, it houses a 13MP auto focus camera with BSI sensor, LED flash on the rear side and a 5MP front-facing camera with 28mm wide angle lens.

S Mobility has officially launched the Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550, the company’s latest smartphone in the Pinnacle series. It went on sale online last week and packs a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED Flash, 1080p full HD video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Xiaomi sells 100,000 Mi 3s in less than 90 seconds

Xiaomi, one of leading manufacturers of Android smartphones in China, have just announced that they have sold 100,000 Xiaomi Mi3 in less than 90 seconds of its launch. This news comes courtesy of Xiamoi Mobile’s Twitter account where they have mentioned that 100000 Mi3 devices have been sold in an exact time of 1 minute and 26 seconds. This clearly indicates a very high demand for the product.

HTC One Max with 5.9-inch 1080p display, Fingerprint Scanner officially announced

HTC has finally announced the most rumored One Max.  It come with a 5.9 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with the new HTC Sense 5.5 UI that brings updated HTC BlinkFeed that bring customisable topic categories, Instagram and Google+ integration. The main highlight of the phone is the  built-in Fingerprint Scanner  on the back of the smartphone that lets you lock or unlock the phone. Lava has launched the E-Tab Ivory, a new tablet with voice calling support in the E-Tab range. The E-Tab E-Tab Z7C+ (Connect+) with voice calling support went on sale recently, but this has a dual SIM support similar to the Micromax Funbook Mini P410 that went on sale earlier this month.  It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT8377  processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has dual SIM cars slots with 3G support, voice calling and SMS.  These is a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. Instagram v4.2 for Android brings automatic straightening, Simplified video settings and more

At the same time the iPhone app got automatic straightening feature that corrects the photo when you  tap the new Straighten icon. Micromax is all set to launch the Bolt A58,a  new budget smartphone in the Bolt series. The Bolt A40 and the Bolt A67 went on sale recently. The Bolt A58 has surfaced on the official website. It comes with with a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) display, powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek 6572M processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It packs a 2 MP rear camera without flash, but comes with 3G support. It also has dual SIM support with dual standby similar to most of the Micromax smartphones. Karbonn has released three new phones in the Indian markets. Karbonn A99, A16 and A12+  is now available online and the A18+ is listed online as coming soon. The A99, A16 and A12+ comes with about 4-inch display, while the A18+ features a 5-inch (480 x 854 pixels)  display. These are powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and features a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash with a front-facing camera. HTC One mini officially launched in India for Rs. 36,790

The HTC One mini was announced as the company’s answer to people wanting a compact version of the popular flagship – One, but it arguably did a “mini” on the specifications too, which left people wanting more, especially with that price tag. As if things couldn’t get any worse, the One mini has finally gotten its official launch in India, and it has a MOP price of Rs. 36,790, well above the earlier price some e-tailers had posted. While the price may be a bit on the higher side, the One mini does bring a lot of features that were made popular by the One, including the 4 MP UltraPixel camera, the HTC Zoe camera feature and a really good SLCD2 screen spanning 4.3 inches and sporting a 1280×720 resolution. It is definitely good looking too, borrowing from the design on the One, but with more polycarbonate on the sides and the front.

It has a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) multi-touch IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor with ULP GeForce GPUand runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and packs a 4000 mAh battery. Xolo launched the Xolo Tab last month powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 and voice calling, but this lacks 3G support or voice calling. It is not available for all the tablets yet, but Twitter has announced that the app would first be available for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. The Landscape view shows Tweets, conversations, Trends, accounts to follow and more. You can just tap a tweet that expand on the right side to show photos, videos and previews. It surfaced recently and packs a 5.5-inch (960 ×540 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a Stylus Pen for handwriting that can be stored conveniently in a slot. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Intex Aqua HD Unboxing

Intex is fairly a newcomer in the Indian Smartphone market and it started launching Android devices much after Micromax or Karbonn, but now they have caught up with the lot by releasing MediaTek based devices under the Aqua range. We saw the cheapest Android 4.2.2 phone from the same company, and it even launched its flagship 1080p device – the Aqua i7. But today we have another 720p entry from Intex in the form of the Aqua HD. It sports a 4.7 inch HD screen and a 13 megapixel camera with an interesting design and build quality.
