Intex launched the Aqua i5 HD in the Auqa series at an event yesterday. Today, the Aqua i5 mini has surfaced on the official Intex website. It has a 5-inch FWVGA (854 × 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera (mentioned as 5MP on the phone) with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support and has 3G connectivity. Motorola Moto E, the latest budget smartphone from the makers of the uber popular Moto G, was launched in India, a day before yesterday, at an event in New Delhi. Priced at a lowly Rs. 6,999, India was one of the International launch markets where Motorola has pursued the same strategy as before, for its Moto X and Moto G devices. The device will sell in an online-only model through one of the most popular e-commerce retailers in the country, Flipkart. Due to this efficient distribution model, we have already got the device in our labs, for the usual testing that we do, and of course, the first thing we did was unbox it and see what it packs. We also think it will benefit the online buyers as this is the closest one can get to checking it out in person. HTC has just announced the One mini 2, the successor of last year’s One Mini. It has brushed metal body with tapered edges, similar to the HTC One (M8), but comes with a smaller 4.5-inch HD screen. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Sense 6 on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f/2.2 lens, 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor.

Monument Valley, one of the most beautiful looking puzzle games ever, has arrived on Android, as promised, for a similar price of Rs. 245 on the Google Play Store. Released back in April for iOS, the game garnered praise for its stunningly designed levels, sporting a minimalistic 3D approach. It is a beautiful combination of art and mathematics, as it incorporates the optical illusion of a penrose triangle in most of its levels and bases the gameplay on its design, using impossible architecture. From a different perspective, it is a simple game of getting from point A to point B, usually by solving puzzles with mechanical movements.
