Lava has launched Iris X1, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Iris series as it promised recently. It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS screen, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor with Videocore IV GPU and runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) out of the box. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, dual LED flash, Multi-Element Lens, 1.4 mm Pixel Size and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a similar design as the Iris Pro series. Sony D2403, an unknown device has been spotted on GFXBench. This reveals the complete specifications of the smartphone. According to benchmark listing, the phone would have a 4.7-inch (960 x 540 pixels) display, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU and runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) out of the box. Introduction
The Oppo Find 7a is one of the two successors of the Oppo Find 5. Oppo Find 7a is the slightly toned down variant among Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a, but by no means is short of power thanks to a Snapdragon 800 that powers the device. The Oppo Find 5 helped establish Oppo as one of the few Chinese companies which values its products and spends a lot of time on the design and build quality. Oppo Find 5 was one solidly built smartphone and the Find 7a takes after its predecessor with a similar sturdy build, but with a removable back cover, user replaceable battery and a microSD card slot. The Oppo Find 7a is available in India for Rs. 31,990 and lets check out how it competes against the slightly higher priced competition.

Nokia X2 Dual SIM spotted in benchmarks, specifications detailed
Nokia X2 (RM-1013), the successor of the Nokia X, the company’s first Android smartphone surfaced few days back on a Chinese website. Now the smartphone has appeared on AnTuTu benchmark. This confirms the previous leak that the phone would be powered by a 1.2 dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage. Huawei Honor 3X Pro with 5.5-inch 1080p display and Honor 3C 4G with Android 4.4 announced
Huawei has announced the Honor 3X Pro and the 4G variant of the Honor 3C in China. It unveiled the Honor 3X and the Honor 3C back in December last year. The Honor 3C was launched in India earlier this month and the international variant of the Honor 3X was launched as Ascend G750. The Honor 3X Pro is powered by the same 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Emotion UI 2.0, but this has a 5.5-inch 1080p LTPS display, unlike the 720p display on the Honor 3X. Secret app released for Android, goes global
Secret, a social networking app that lets users send text and images to others anonymously has now landed on Android. The four month old app that made its debut on iOS earlier this year, preserves user identity as it does not have profile name or photo. It uses address book of users to see what your “friends” and “friends of friends” are also posting. Users can sign in, post public, anonymous confessions, and let others comment on, like, and share them.
