Google has confirmed that it is biding adieu to Oracle’s proprietary Java application programming interfaces (APIs) for its next iteration of Android. LG had already announced its plans to launch Spirit LTE and G4 Stylus 4G smartphones with VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) and VoWiFi (Voice Over Wi-Fi) support in India in partnership with Reliance Retail.
